Guild Info:
In this thread I will be covering all aspects of our Guild. I will also be happy to answer any questions you have about our Guild in the Guild FAQ here (http://academyofrepublic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4). Our guild is going to be a PvP/PvE focused guild including (War Zones, Group Raids, Flash Points, Group Quests, Guild Ganking, Ect...), we are going to keep the two well balanced. Our Guild's senior staff are Veterans of other popular MMORPG's such as (World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Rift, Ect...), and have played many classes in each. We believe that no MMO is complete without a great PvP & PvE experience. And are committed in doing our part to make it so.

Guild PvP: :cool:
The PvP side of the Guild is all about just sticking it to the Sith. Weather it be in World PvP or War Zones we will be there to fight back against the evil Sith Empire. Guild traitors & Sith opponents will be given no quarter (Definition of No Quarter: A victor gives no quarter when the victor shows no clemency or mercy and refuses to spare the life in return for the surrender at discretion (unconditional surrender) of a vanquished opponent. :D ).
We will strive to make our Guild PvP a great experience, Driven by Guild Events & Interaction by members & Guild Leaders. That will allow members to enjoy there PvP interactions with the Guild. More PvP outlines will be established as more game info is released. In the mean time we are open to Guild input on our Guild PvP.

Guild PvE:
As The Old Republic shows promise for having one of the greatest PvE experiences of all time. We feel that taking that away from our members would be a waste, therefore we will strive to enable and help Guild Members to partake and enjoy in all PvE content. While the PvE side of the Guild may be more laid back than the PvP side it will in no way take that away from members. We will be looking for people to take lead in Raids and all other PvE content that members choose to partake in. More PvE outlines will be established as more game info is released. In the mean time we are open to Guild input on our Guild PvE.

Voice Client:
Academy of Republic will be using TeamSpeak 3 for all Guild events and activities, and will be the only official VIoP used by our Guild. TeamsSpeak3 has come a long way from it's previous version TS2, and the senior Guild staff believe it too be as good as Ventrilo & other VIoP solutions. Our TS3 server will be free of charge for all Guild members. Our TS3 server also is expandable up to 512 simultaneous users.

Our guild podcast is up.

For a few days our site was offline, but it is back up now if anyone was trying to access it and couldn't you can now.

Good news for Academy of Republic we have formed an alliance with the guild Serenity, you can check out their site here (http://www.swtor-serenity.enjin.com/home). an awesome group of guys, looking forward to a lot of fun times in swtor with them.

What does this mean for Academy of Republic?
With this guild alliance it will provide a larger community of guildies to interact with. While Serenity & Academy of Republic remain separate guilds with their own individual missions & goals, we will work together to provide a dominate Republic presence on the server to thwart the Sith Invasion. Also with the possibility of joint PvP/PvE events.

Academy of republic is really going to be a fun guild to be in with our allies, "Serenity (http://www.swtor-serenity.enjin.com/home) and relic (http://relicguild.guildlaunch.com/)") there is going to be a lot of thing that this guild will do, there is a lot of fun to come for this guild and its allies, and all you have to do is join to be a part of it.
