To start things off its good to be back to modding (even though I never really did anything lol). So I suppose i should start with some of the mods im going to create.

Crusader style Mandalorians (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Crusaders) for tsl
I have Rohland Dyre (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rohlan_Dyre) skinned in mandalores armor, it is coming along nicely.
http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/1751/rolandfront.jpg)
http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/6231/rolandback.jpg)
the boots still need to be skinned properly, and it will be using the bare metal shader, so will post in game screenies soon. I was wondering how i could add a few things to it, like a jet pack, shoulder spikes, and form the helmet a little better. Next would be changing Mandalore to look a little more Mandalore with the proper mask and a more suitable suit, from there changing the basic mandalorians to be a little more crusadery and less neo-crusader, I feel that the ones that Mandalore collect during the course of the story being more or less different due to the splitting up of the mando's after the war, Rohland will probably replace the mando Esok, the one that questions if Mandalore is the really The Mandalore on dantooine and fights them. and the all ready wearable mandalorian armors in game will be changed to neo-crusader style. once all that is done I would like to make Mira a set of armor probably based of from the armor Xasha (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Xasha) wears in the Force Unleased 2 comic, basically a red and orange phase 1 clone trooper helm with matching mandalorian style armor. once that is done i was wondering if it was possible to use Mandalores helm as an equipable helmet with hoses, ive seen it done in other mods but only through the use of disguises. If it can be I would create a sith bounty hunter equiped with the black lightsaber that is used by the mandos in the clone wars, to follow you around and attack at certain points during the story kinda of like Calo in kotor. this will probably become a large mod, and will take a lot of time.

Ashoka Tano (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ahsoka_Tano) for kotor and tsl.
http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/3702/ahsokafront.jpg)
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/429/ahsokaback.jpg)
body skin is done by use of the female child, but will probably change it to female adult pedestrian, as i need to figure out if its possible to add equipment hooks to the model. will probably replace Mission for kotor, and maybe be a recruit for tsl. Although its taking a little longer then expected to make the head crown/ head tails. Also i would like to change Lonna Vash into a Togruta as well ala shaak ti, as I find the jedi counsul definitly lacking in species, may add other species to the jedi counsul scene to add flavor like Master Vandar and such, it doesnt make sense that the only four members of the jedi council to show up to your trial are the only ones still alive.

Juhani to Darth Maladi (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Maladi) for kotor.
simple reskin i suppose maybe so custom robes in the style of Maladi's if i can find a suitable model, and maybe her lightsaber eventually.

Thanks for listening to me ramble on, and I hope to actually get stuff done. if anyone could answer my questions about adding stuff to the armors that would be fantastic. Would it be possible to have numbered Mandalore models? like mandalorebb.mdl would be Mandalore's model, while mandalorebd.mdl would be Roland's model, then number them for different variations? or can I only number the textures differently?

Very interesting. Especially the first one. To make a jet pack you would probably have to remodel the armor and add it that way.

updates

sasha's armor is done for now may change it down the line
http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/8662/sashaarmorfront.jpg)

rohlan dyre armor in game
http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/7882/rohlandarmor.jpg)
http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/4098/rohland.jpg)
forget the helm for now, from another mod i have installed i will try to get permission to use, if not ill have to make my own.

next is the aforementioned Mandalore being more like like the previous Mandalores. I havent gotten around to it by im going to try to merge these two models together body being Darth Bandon's and the robe and arms being the master robes. once I have that done I can work on reskinning them better just a quick look to see what I could get out of them.
http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/9904/mandalorerobes.jpg)
Im thinking of doing blue robes and either gray or brown armor for him to keep him different from the other Mandalores but still to keep with the general getup any opinions on that would be most helpful

now I have a question im trying to get Darth Bandon's armor to show up as the non-helmet version of Mandalore, when i just rename the model it shows up as a mess so would I have to change that in the appearance.2da?

If you're going to merge those models you're going to have to mess with animations. The Darth Bandon model has a different idle position than the regular robe, so they don't always match up and it looks bad. I know this because I've played with those before, so just a heads up.

As for your skins, I really like the Rohlan Dyre armor. The other one (the first one) doesn't look so great to me though. Maybe you could try desaturating the colors a bit? Just a suggestion.

yeah desaturating makes it look almost rusty, ill have to run in game to see how it looks. I was trying to get a more paint peeling look to it on the basic armor.

Hm, I don't know about paint peeling paint, but I do touch on fading out stuff in the little tutorial (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2738659#post2738659) I made. I dunno how it would look here, but it might just work.

just this morning I was thinking about doing a Roland Dyre mod using Mandalore's model. I was thinking of just re-shaping the helmet, without adding the jet pack. Your's is looking pretty good, so I don't think I'll bother. I don't think that you need to desaturate the red, but you could make is a little more brown (just a tiny touch, don't over do it). The comics use a less vibrant colour palette most of the time, but the campaign guide is fairly colourful (but a bit more orange). In other words, play with it some more ?

You also might want to reduce some of the baremetal shine. His armour looks a little more matte than high gloss (at least in the images I've seen).

Keep it up

yea I had just gotten done reading the kotor comic and was like hm kotor really needs crusader mandos, rohlan was a proof of concept, using mandalores model so far im starting on the second mando and Mandalore as well. After that I finished reading the Legacy comic and made this quick.
http://img573.imageshack.us/img573/1203/cade.jpg) need to remove the skirt section, move the armor around a little more, and itll look better. I might also try to reskin a set of armor for Cade.
