Hi.
I have created a custom model in blender (www.blender.org) but i don't know how to use it so i can have new weapon with my model.
I tried search but found nothing. I have also looked in the modeling section but it's using gmax. Is there any way to use my model made in blender?
If so please help i'd really appreciate that.

and... May the force be with you.:lightning

There is a key tool that you need to use called NWmax which is only made for 3ds max and gmax. I recommend you use gmax. Make the model in blender and then hopefully you'll be able to convert the file over to something that gmax can use and then finish it up in there.

So, what you're saying is to covert file to gmax format and then from there to game's format using that Nwmax, right?
P.S Should i texture the model in blender or is there some separate file necessary?

correct - i'm not exactly sure of how to model or texture using blender, i personally use 3ds. I say try both, see which one is easier, and use the texture system of which ever is easier for you to use.

If you are already proficient with Blender then do all your modelling and mapping there and then export your finished model as an OBJ. Do a search here for info on the GMax OBJ import plugin and how to use it to get your model into GMax. If you are just learning modelling then you'd probably be better off just starting straight in GMax, as it is a cut down version of 3DS Max v4 and much of the core functionality is still the same. You could do worse than learning how to use Max, even if it is the worst interface known to man.

Thanks for responses:thmbup1:
I think i will stick with blender then.:)
One more question: If i texture the model in blender will it stay textured in game, after converting or is there separate file necessary? (sorry harIII could you make yourself clear?)

By "texture in Blender" presumably you are referring to procedural textures? No, those are not usable in the game (or any game). You will need to UV map your model and make a raster texture for it (the TGA format is what is used for KOTOR). You are obviously new to this, so I suggest searching Google for tutorials on how to do this in Blender.
