Well , can anyone help me with the next question/problem?

I want to know how to put a characters name string in a dialog and how to make dialog different depending on the characters gender?

Any advice is welcome:):D

To enter a character's name you just have to type in anywhere <FullName>. I'm not sure about first and last names, I've tried <FirstName> before but it didn't work.

Dialog Gender - This is pretty easy too, you need to compile these two scripts, one is for a male gender while the other is for a female. Just download them and you'll see which one is which, I like to keep my busting override folder which is full of scripts easily identified.

No problem, my philosophy is to help all I can but ensure that those who are new to the community know what they're getting into, especially with something like what you're doing.

Yup. It's big. But after I present the first few minutes , maybe people will be more inclined to help me. If there actually is someone that doesn't work on a major project.

BTW , I have to admit , your "Shadow of the Empire" is superb. Hope you see it through.

Thanks I'm amazed at how big it has already grown. I have 5 incomplete locations out of 15 total and I'm already running over a CD, we're looking at 925 MB!

I'm doing something similar because I don't have a very strong reputation around here. I'm going to make a beta version as an intro to SOTE and hopefully I'll be able to prove to other's that I'm serious about this project. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a few modelers out of it as well.
