I went through the script files of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with Scumm Revisited and came across the text for the different endings you can get at the end of the game. I discovered that there is text for an ending where Indy can escape the Grail Temple with the Grail. Is this text left over from a cut-out ending or can you really escape with the Grail? If so, how do you do it?

Haha, no, you can't escape with the Grail. They considered it and then obviously cut it. You can get the Grail using the whip, then either give it back to the Knight or attempt to leave with it and die.

Elsa can survive though, I believe.
