So I installed bodysuit bastila and played most of the game, but it's appearance.2da modification is getting in the way of other stuff I'd rather have.

I've tried removing some stuff, figuring the actual appearance.2da should still exist, but every time I empty the override folder my game crashes on save file load.

Might be the idea that you saved the game while wearing the clothes. To fix it, put the mod back it, unequip the clothes, save with something else on, and then uninstall the mod.

I think that was the issue. Any time it went looking for the items, the game panicked.
