Background:
Six years after the New Republic made peace with the Imperial Remnant, a new threat to the galaxy appeared. The new threat, the Yuuzhan Vong, had come from another galaxy, and had cut a bloody swathe through the Outer Rim, and eventually advanced to the Core Worlds. Now, in the third year of the war, they assault Coruscant itself, and the amassed armada seems unstoppable...

Story:

Cor Beska looked up at the sky of Coruscant, seeing explosions and dogfights between the New Republic V-wings and E-wings against the Vong's atmospheric craft. It seemed like the Vong were unstoppable, and had reached the Core in no time. Cor looked at the others in his division, and could see many of them were petrified. Cor looked up at the sky again, and saw Vong landing craft start dropping off Yuuzhan Vong warriors and their Chazrach slaves near his division's position on a walkway in the city. Cor cocked his blaster rifle and brought it up to his shoulder. Things were about to get real messy down on the ground.
