In the course of political history, there comes a time when one realm pays a tribute to another realm, one of them being the weaker. Usually, this is a mutually beneficial arrangement for both realms--one receives payment, the other protection. Over time, however, the stronger can exploit the weaker, turning its common people into slaves and its nobles into sycophants. This is what has happened between the First and Second Realms, and those of the Second have fallen into despair. Will it keep having to live with the threats of King Uthgar of the First, having his armies unleash their fury on the populace?

Only one, known as the Komandir or Commander, can reverse the tide in the Second Realm. The Commander is recruiting an army of all who are able to fight, men, women, and youth alike. Will the Second Realm rise or fall?

RULES:

1. This is a gritty, descriptive roleplayfic. Gore, dirt, and romance allowed!
2. NO ONE in the Second Realm except the Komandir has military skills at this
point. All other Second Realm characters may have some other occupation,
but must absolutely, positively suck at combat and other fighting arts.

3. All characters are on a faction--the First or Second Realm.
4. No "godlike" characters, unless summoned (a.k.a. allowed by Threadmaster)
5. Players can "defect" from one faction to the other through betrayal.
(6). The Komandir is the would-be hero of the Second Realm, though if his or her "army" fails, s/he can choose to betray the Second and side with the 1st.

Appearance: Lovely, if she'd ever seen a washstand in her entire life. It is not for no reason that Strast' walks around reeking of sweat, smoke and oily hair--she's a beggar, and she sees no way out of her penniless plight.
Bio: She grew up on the streets, and she'll die on the streets. Her family died of a plague some years back--goodness knows how she survived!

so we can be a character from the first relm, but not a soldier or anything?

Actually, the First Realm has all the soldiers and military personnel--that's part of the deal that they made with the Second Realm. The Second Realm has most of the intelligentsia and politicians...which the First Realm is keen to exploit.

So, First Realm characters can be soldiers all they want, but they're against the Komandir. :)

Would a defecting First Realm soldier be alright?

Appearance: Short red hair. He has small eyes, his left eyes is a dark green while his right is a light blue. He has a scar along his left cheek. His mouth is drawn and small. His nose is pointy. He wears a black bandanna tied around his head, with dark brown leather fingerless gloves that go up past his elbows. Devlen wears a sleeveless gray shirt, with baggy pants, that tuck into his brown buckled boots.
Bio: Devlen was trained as a soldier, and his skills in stealth and persuasion were so advance they assigned him to a special team. His job requires him to infiltrate the Second Realm and report of any rebellious activities. So far he as preformed his job admirably and he plans to continue to do so. No matter how many his has to kill to keep himself a secrete. Though some doubts about his superiors have filled his mind has he has listened to the rambles of people of the Second Realm.

I welcome any and all defecting First Realm soldiers. :)

Appearance: 6'2", lean but muscular. he has shoulder length black hair, and a rugged goatee. Wears mostly green and brown, including a long sleeved shirt, pants, and cloak, along with leather boots. The only thing that would particularly stand out would be his greatsword, appearing to be stolen from a First Realm Soldier.
Bio: Curudir never agreed with the First Realm's oppression of the Second, but never took a stand until he was ordered to kill a beggar for failing to pay their taxes, he refused, and was forced to kill his commanding officer in self defense, something he does not regret. He fled to the streets of the Second Realm, keeping as little of his military equipment as possible, while still being able to fight his former associates.
