I'm not asking for advice on how to do this, but offering it to others, or at least showing them how I do it.

First, for the "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...." keep the font size at default, set the colour at Cyan, and put the break after the first "far".

Then, for the Star Wars title, set the font colour to yellow, and set the size to be as large as possible, and remember to put a break after "Star".

For the rest of the text crawl, return font size to default, and keep the colour yellow. It's three paragraphs, with generally five lines each, except for the last, which is usually one less, and typically four words to a line.

Here are some examples from my RP series:

A long time ago, in a galaxy far,
far away....

STAR
WARS

THE SITH RESURRECTION

Darkness has engulfed the
galaxy.The Sith have
returned from hiding and
declared an all-out
war on the Jedi Order.

Led by a Triumvirate of Sith
Lords, this Sith Order has
abolished the Rule of Two
and now equals the Jedi
in number.

Deep in the bowels of
Coruscant, one of these
Sith Lords hunts down what
Jedi he can....

A long time ago, in a galaxy far,
far, away....

STAR
WARS

RISE OF THE JEDI

It is a dangerous time for
the Republic. The Sith, led
by the Rodian Dar
Bodonawieedo, have taken
control of more than half
the known galaxy.

The Jedi, led by Hethra
Iazoki, have begun to take
a more aggressive stand
against the Sith instead of
simply defending what
remains of Republic Space.

In the skies above the
Outer Rim world of Taris,
the Republic plans on
liberating what they hope to
be the first of many
worlds....
A long time ago, in a galaxy far,
far away....

STAR
WARS

LAST STAND OF THE REPUBLIC

War! The Republic is slowly
gaining ground in its fight
against the Risen Sith
Empire. The Sith are
crumbling. Victory is near.

Unbeknownst to the Jedi,
Darth Mortis, Dark Lady of
the Sith, has secretly
rebuilt a weapon that could
spell certain doom for the
fragile Republic.

Deep within a region of
space known only as the
Forbidden Stars, two lone
Jedi make a last-ditch
break for freedom from the
Sith....

A long time ago, in a galaxy far,
far away....

STAR
WARS

ALLIANCES DIVIDED

It is a period of tension in
the Republic Senate.
Following several attacks
on Republic ships near the
Unknown Regions, senators
are debating whether or not
to raise an army.

The Jedi Order is
determined to find out more
about the disturbances
before taking any decisive
action,and have sent Jedi
Master Reyvan Skyrider and
his apprentice, Kalla Kaltas,
to investigate.

Their investigation has
proven successful, but
nothing could prepare them
for what they found....
A long time ago, in a galaxy far,
far away....

STAR
WARS

THE THREEFOLD WAR

War has returned to an
unprepared galaxy, with
three factions fighting
openly for control: The
Third Galactic Republic, the
New Galactic Empire, and
the Rashikians.

Secretly however, the New
Empire is controlled by the
Sith, led by the formerly
deceased Darth Virul, Dark
Lord of the Sith.

In a daring move, the New
Empire makes a strike at
Amshrey, at the heart of
Avalonian space....

Interesting, when I saw the thread title I thought it was going to be on how to create a moving text crawl, but this is still useful nonetheless. Nice.

I know that as well. If you have a Mac, download Star Wars TSG for free, along with a copy of the Star Wars theme and the 20th Century Fox fanfare, and type your stuff into that, assemble it in iMovie, and upload it to YouTube.
