Election 2008 is a Mess!
Putting aside everyone's bias support for either canidate, is this one of the most messed up elections in your lifetime?

McCain picks someone who abused her office in Alaska.
Obama's relationships to controversial people keeps slipping into the media.
McCain doesn't hit hard at debates.
Obama doesn't hit hard at debates.
McCain is considered too old by some.
Obama is considered too unexperienced.
McCain is considered old school.
Obama is considered too Hollywood.
McCain can't remember how many houses he owns.
Obama loves but hates his reverend.
and on, and on....

How many people are just plainly getting tired of it all?

I followed the 2001 and 2004 election closely, and I don't rmember it being this contraversial. There seems to be more uncertainly.

there were several elections that were even more contested. This is definitely the longest presidential election, but it isn't the nastiest.

Speaking of messes, has anyone posted this yet? Apologies if it has already, or if it doesn't 'belong' here.. but the other threads are deep in debate and don't need any diversions. However, I'd constitute this as a "mess" ;)

New York county prints ‘Barack Osama’ on ballots

(CNN) — Some are calling it a Freudian slip. Everyone’s calling it a big mistake.

Yeah, I saw this on MSNBC yesterday. I think (well, I hope) that it's just a mistake. I'm surprised that the ballots made it past three rounds of proofing: Freudian, indeed. :p
