So i have a windows XP home edition and i've tried just about everything to get Starwars Episode 1 racer to work. I've tried all the different compatibilities under properties, I've tried both patch fixes, and I've tried changing the anti aliasing on my video card (NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT) and nothing seems to work.

The problem is, every time i restart the computer it works fine until like 3 or 4 races it will start lagging worse and worse then finally the screen will freeze but the game will still be running cuz i can hear the sounds. If i ctrl alt delete out of it and try to play it again after that it gives me this rdriod_gnome error message until i restart it again. Any help please. All input appreciated.
