Hey I'm new here, and I just recently purchased Star Wars Battlefront 2. I think it is a great game, but I wish that I could play online. I don't have a means to get the internet adapter for my PS2. I'm also thinking about purchasing a PS3 or XBOX 360, which would you recommend, and can you play Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the new consoles? Cheers if you can answer me and I look forward to participating in discussions on these forums.

Welcome, i dont think asking the community for their suggestion over which console to choose should be your method as its hard to avoid personnal opinion over actual fact. Its about your preferences do you want blue ray, what games do you play, and how much you want to spend. Im sure if you do some research youll come to a better answer than i can give you.

SWBF2 is backwards compatible with the 360 with the download of a free emulator, i dont believe you can play the ps2 version of the game on the ps3 though.

What about with the 60GB hard drive on the PS3? I have heard it is compatible, but the 60GB is expensive.
