Well, having the same colors as the robes in the game might be a good idea.

If you do more variations, be sure to use multiple colors. Single colors look bland. Also, shy away from pronounced colors like red or blue or green: use them in moderation like less saturated. Yellows I always thought looked fine, though. But it's your show! :D
