A Question About Overwriting Modules

Alright, yet another question I have that I'm defiling the forums with...

Lets say I want to change the Module: Tar_m02ab (I think that's the one I'm currently working on! It should be the South City) and I wanted to create a placeable in it and I don't trust my scripting abilities.

So I edit the module through KotOR Tool's Module Editor (The Map is supported) and I place the placeable where I want it to be in the module. Now, I pack up the module as a .mod file and now I want to use that instead of the .rim's that the game automatically defaults to.

Do I just place it in the modules directory? Or do I place it in override?

---------------------------------------------------------------
Now, to continue with this line of thought, would I have to use Stoffe's ERF Editor (In conjunction with K-GFF) to edit the .rim's of the module I'm editing and save it that way in the Module's directory (Overwriting the originals) or would I have to place the edited .rim's in the Override directory?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You place it in the modules folder, the game will automatically use a .mod file before the .rim - Also not sure if you know this already but it's best not to use the MOD builder that's built in to the Module Editor as it doesn't package everything up.
