Darth Bandon battle not starting

So I just descended into the Lower Shadowlands and there is nice and dark Mr. Bandon waiting to meet his creator (ATM, no doubt :) ). A script starts, but when a pre-battle talk should start, nothing happens. I can't even initiate chat with him. Any clue what mod could be a cultirt or in what files should I look into?

p.s.: Actually I had trouble on the Great Walkway (or whateve) with some dark jedies, which also just stood around and didn't start a fight. But talking to them started the little encounter :)

Same exact problem here, my friend! Only for me the game would crash entirely. I've discovered a way around it: go back to Tatooine, enter the krayt dragon cave, come out, and Bandon will be there. And it always triggers for me there. Then go back to Kashyyyk and do what ever you need to do. :)

That should work but you'll have to do it on a save before you got to Kashyy... Wookie World or the game won't spawn him again as he's already been spawned on aforementioned planet.

Also I'm going to sound like a boring old nagging fart as I told someone this the other day but this sort of question belongs in The Work Bench instead of here.

You want to delete any Bandon files in your Override.

No, not exactly. As long as you don't go down into the Shadowlands you can still leave the planet and he'll still spawn on a different world.
You want to delete any Bandon files in your Override.
That doesn't help, either. It was the reskin files that did it for me, but even after removing those files, it still messed the game up. I think you have to not have any Bandon files in your override folder from the start of the game, or at least up until his first appearance on the bridge of the Leviathan after defeating Calo Nord.

I had a similar problem once.

I took the lift down to the shadowlands, only Bandon was invisible.

2-3 seconds later, the game crashes.

Did not have the same problem when i met him on Korriban though.

This was a while ago, so my memory of the event is a little fuzzy, but i think if you face Bandon on one of the other locations you can then continue on Kashyyk afterwards.

This is what i did at least, don't know if it helps.

Yeah, the exact same thing happens to me.

And yes. Simply go encounter him on a different world and then come back and continue with what you were doing.

I edited my saved game... Changed variable K_KALO_BANDON in NUMERICS to 20. Then teleported to the East Dune Sea (the place with Star Map), tun into cave and when returning, there were my good friend Bandon. Battle started normally. After defeating him I teleported back to Kaskyyyk. His party still stays there, but causes no problems :)

Anybody who has this Bandon problem on Kashyyyk have T7's Weapons of the Old Republic Mod?

If you do, that will cause an issue. There's an error in Bandon's Kashyyyk UTC file. The details on what it is and how to fix it with the KOTOR Tool is in the thread release.

Shem is right. The same thing happened to Calo on Tatooine because of a WOTOR Calo file.

So, facing Bandon anywhere but Kashyyk and Calo anywhere but tatooine should easily cercumvent(sp?) the problem.

I myself usually face Calo on Kashyyk and Bandon on Korriban.

I have WOTOR, but Calo on Tatooine worked OK.

Btw, there are three bandon files in the Wotor patch upgrades1.02_to_1.03.

I think they fix this actually since they're called:
kas_Bandon
kor_Bandon
tat_Bandon
