Hi, i'm a big fan of SW universe, but novice for XWA :)

For all guys who have this damn XWA (X-Wing Alliance) desktop crash on Win XP. I'we spend a few days trying to make it work.
I'we read all topics on any XWA site, there is a lot of ppl who have similar problem but there is no solution.
Fortunately i'we found myself a way to fix it. So, here it is -

First - You need just to install the game (Full install)

After - Copy All Files from both cds, except maybe folder Install, to installed game's directory e.g "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\XWingAlliance"

Next step - Apply official patch 2.02

That's it, go kick some asses !!!

Many of us have been able to install the game on WinXP w/o going through all of that, but if it works for you, great. I'll have to remember that as something I can suggest to people on other boards who are also having CTD problems. :)
