A new tale on Crystal Island begins...

"This sucks" mumbled Splint slightly angry. He trudged through the thick mud that was pasting his new boots. "All friends... gone! I have to take on the island once again! No one else will have a superform" he paused and smirked. "Unlike me." Splint continued on walking through the horrible mud speaking to himself randomly about the event of his life.

There was a ruffle in some bushes near him, and he looked about frantically. Then poppin out was a young rocky monster completley made out of rocks and boulders. It was holding a small rock gun. With no hesitation, it pulled the trigger and firing out of the gun was a jagged stone that pierced Splint's shoulder.

"Ahh!" he screamed falling to the ground clutching his shoulder. He scrambled for his sword, but the Screat kicked him in the face. Then it screamed and fell to the gorund beside him...

Lorik was walking threw the thick mud with rather great frustration. He's almost lost his boots twice now, and a greater irritation was he didn't know exactly where he was. "Blast, this can't be happening" he muttered to himself.

Then in the distant background he heard a scream. Lorik quickly ran to check it out. He abruptly stopped, and saw a rock creature attacking some one. Lorik notice that the other person wasn't going to survive this, not with out help of course.

Quietly Lorik took out his long sword and started to run behind the rock creature quietly. As he drew closer Lorik transformed into his silver form "not again" he quietly muttered to himself. With a quick slash at the creatures back, it screamed and fell.

Arisa Watson was walking in a forest, repeatedly tripping over her oversized boots. She screamed." Not again!" SPLAT. Down she went again. By now she was covered head to toe in mud. " I look like a drowned mouse." she cried.

She heard a scream and raced to help. She saw a man turn into a silver soldier and slain the enemy she had been after.

"You took my kill.Oh well, he's dead I guess that's what matters." she said to the two men."

"Ahh stupid flimsy little Screats.... woah!" he mumbled looking up at the silver form. "Y- you have a superform too? I used to know someone with a silverform.... very good friends" he trailed off. "More importantly, thank you both for saving my life, but I have to go now and get on with stuff, so, cya later." He wrapped his cloak around him, and with one leap jumped, his body turning bright blue as he appeared in his water form. He scampered away.

Lorik watched as the person he just saved ran off. Shaking his head he started his trek forward in the mud, ignoring the other person that joined. Still agitated at being lost he figured if he kept going in the same direction long enough he might reach something familiar.

"stupid place" he mumbled to himself

If there was any other place he could be at this moment, he would love to be there. But he wasn't Lorik was here, now, in this place.

"Why is it out of all the places in the world I get stuck on this island?" he asked himself as he walked forward.

" It's not a bad place to live. I mean yeah you have blood thirsty creatures that want to kill you and there's always a lack of food. Plus the berries are mostly poisen but if you overlook all that... it really does suck doesn't it but it's my home." Arisa said. " I take it your new here.Not many people come here by choice."

Lorik kept walking, he didn't want the annoyance of someone else's company. The place it self he didn't find bad, but he didn't want to encourage his unwanted traveling companion to talk some more by asking where exactly they were. The sooner they ran into some one else the sooner he could dump her off.

After he attacked the rock creature Lorik has been paying closure attention to his surroundings, he knew if there was one attack there would most likely be another, and he didn't want to be caught off guard.

Sitting on his own, Splint was thinking hard in the mouth of a cave.

"He can't have a superform... how? There is 1o crystals, oen for each super person, if he.... that's it!" shouted out loud. "He is the new super! He is here to replace Andrew..... well he can't replace Andrew, no one can be such a good friend."

Lorik continued walking mumbling "How do i get off this island?"

He finally found a path not covered by mud and took it. There he reached a coast line, there he saw giant waves, and currents that could destroy the toughest ships. He sighed heavily.

"So escape plane one fails with out an attempt." Lorik sat on the ground with his legs crossed, he placed his face in his hands. The ground underneath him was cold and hard.

"Wonder if that girl is still following me..."

Clifton walked next to Splint "You shouldn't be so quick to judge, he may turn out to be an alli we need."

He walked passed Splint and looked down into the darkness of the cave, he arms folded across his chest. He closed his eyes and sighed slightly.

"Are you going to be alright if I leave you here?"

"Nah, I'll come with you. I still need one of my old friends to tag along with, come on. Let's not let Crystal Island sit and die."

Splint pulled himself up of the cold ground and left the cave..

Ashely walked down the road, and saw a cave up ahead. Two young men were coming out of it.

The young fourteen-year-old hid behind the tree. "Oh no. They're coming this way! Should I join them... or shouldn't I?"

Ashely was shy as always. Even if she could transform into Fire, she was too scared to encounter danger, But then again... she had to prove herself worthy.

She waited for the two young men to come her way.

Clifton walked next to Splint away from the cave. Even this far from the coast you could still feel the winds, and smell the ocean breeze. He enjoyed that smell, it brought him comfort. As the two walked he turned his attention towards Splint.

"What can you tell me about our new arrival? Might be best to know who we are dealing with."

Clifton heard rustling in the bushes but ignored them.

"I have alot to tell you. Yes, he did save my life from some Screat a while back, I thanked him and left. But how did he defeat that screat? He had a superform!" Splint grabbed Clifton by the neck. "I thought we were the only ones!" he said frightened.

Arisa didn't follow Lorik . She knew when her presence wasn't wanted. However they did walk the same path. Whe she saw him she went up to him. " Thank you for defeating the creature.He had killed my best friend so I was hunting him down to avenge his death. I'm not following you, don't worry.I saw you and since you left in a hurry before I could thank you. Well I said it so now I will be going." she started to walk off ." Good luck getting of the island."

Clifton grabbed Splint by the arms and removed his hands from his neck. Letting go he took a few steps forwards, the ground was still damp enough that his weight sifted the ground enough. He looked down towards the ground, then turned around and looked at Splint.

"In all honesty Splint I'm not sure any words I say will bring you comfort. I know you still feel the loss of Andrew. As do we all. But when one is gone..." he broke off trying to gather himself.

Clifton knew Splint and Andrew were really good friends, and saying the wrong thing would send Splint running in a rage.

"You know how old I am Splint. My time is almost up, soon I'll leave, soon I'll be replaced."

Lorik sat there, he slightly listened to the girl say something. He couldn't really make it out though, he was lost in his own thoughts. Listening to the destructive waves, knowing that he may be stuck upon this Island. He sighed heavily with that realization, and he felt his heart grow a little heavy but he ignored it, now was not the time for any feelings, emotions, or anything.

He turned his head slightly to the girl and asked "Why are you on this Island?"

Jordan, a 17 year old girl was cleaning her glasses when she heard human voices. " About time they found me , seriously is it to hard for guys to ask for directions."

Arisa looked at Lorik. " As if you actually care. Your not even paying atention to what I say. I have been here for a long time, a very,very,very long time."

Lorik fought back the urge to yell at the girl. Instead he stood up and calmly walked passed the girl slightly. He then stopped and said "I asked didn't I"

He looked straight ahead, he needed answers that much he knew. And no matter how much of an annoyance he found this girl she was the only one at the moment who could answer them.

Ashely decided to jump in front of Clifton and Splint.

"Hi there!" She waved. "I'm sorry if I surprised you... but I just wanted to ask you two something."

The young girl's eyes brightened, hoping for one of the boys to say something. "My name's Ashely. I'm new to this island."

Splint stood back in fright. He looked to Clifton, to the new girl.
"Alot of people are latley..." he mumbled. "Clifton, you said your time could be up! Does, does this mean she is your replacement! Splint bent down gently.

"There all going... and now I have these new people to put up with" he groaned sadly. "I'm going to go find Jordan, she's likley to cheer me up!" With that he strode off, waving a hand in a gesture of goodbye to Clifton and that girl.

Ashely ran after Splint. "Wait! I didn't mean to be such a burden... but if you want me to stay out of your way, that's fine."

She turned around. "All I wanted was a friend." Ashely sighed. It was like being the only kid without a friend in the world. When she was shipwrecked, she came unto this island, only to find out that she could transform into Fire. But what good was that?

If no one accepted her... that was fine. A tear streamed down her face.

"Wait" mumbled Splint just before she left. "D- do you have a superform?" he asked. A smile lit up his face.

"Perfecto" he mumbled to himself out of earshot. If these new people, these three new people are here. That's good! he thought to himself. Then, I might be able to make new friends, and save the island.

Clifton walked up behind the girl. Gently placed a hand on your shoulder. He looked at her then over towards Splint.

"Don't worry..Ashley..is it? Your in good hands here. There are more of us. Few new ones as well. Which reminds me, should probably find them."

Clifton walked over towards Splint. "I'm giving you a choice, bring her to the others. Or go find the other two. What will it be?"

He stood there in silence waiting for an answer.

Ashley wiped the tear from her eye. The she smiled. "Well... I found out that I have Superform of Fire. I can do all sorts of things with Fire."

She glanced at Clifton. "You're right. My name's Ashley. And to tell you the truth... I'm kinda shy. But I think you already can tell by the looks of my face." Ashley giggled.

She waited for Splint's answer, as Clifton did.

"Umm, I'll go get Jordan, I know where she is. She'll know where the others are, you and Ashley can get the others. We meet at Muki (highest mountain on the island)."

Splint strode off towards the beach, and soon he found Jordan..

When Splint left, Ashley and Clifton were the only ones standing there on the road. Ashley turned to Clifton and smiled.

"So... you and him are friends?"

She knew that they were... but she wanted to know more about these boys. She also wondered if any of them had superform like her.

Clifton turned to Ashley "Yes, you could say that" he said.

He felt bad for Ashley, she seemed like a pleasant girl. Not some one who would take the events of what happens on the island easily.

Clifton reached out his hand towards her and gave her a reassuring smile "Hi Ashley, I'm Clifton. It's a pleasure to meet you."

He hoped beyond all hope that she would be strong enough to help them when the time comes. He hoped that he would be strong enough when the time comes as well.

"Come on Jordan, theres aload of baffled newbies on the island, and they have superforms like us. They are umm, the new ones. I knew this time would come eventually... I just never thought about it. Come on."

Ashley shook Clifton's hand with a bright smile on her face. "It's nice to meet you too, Clifton. That's a pretty strong grip you got there." She giggled.

When they were done shaking hands, Ashley's eyes twinkled with happiness. She knew she'd find friends here on the Island. And if any of them needed help, she'd be there for them.

"So uh... what's your friend's name, if I may ask?"

Clifton looked at the direction that Splint ran off to and sighed sightly.

"That eager fellow that took off is Splint. He's help, and I'm sure he would be willing to answer any questions you have as well."

Clifton returned his gaze to Ashley, he gave her another smile "Let's say we walk and talk, you should meet the others. And don't worry about Splint, he can handle himself. Once he finds the other new people he'll meet us at camp."

He started walking into the forest, and a steady pace, checking over his shoulder making sure Ashley didn't fall to far behind him.

Luckily, Ashley came by Clifton's side. She looked at her surroundings of the forest. To her, it was a beautiful sight. It's been a while since she walked into a forest... to meditate. And that's what she felt like doing.

Continuing to walk with Clifton, she glanced up at him. "Clifton? Do you like it here on the Island?"

She always wondered about this strange new Island. Superform. Rock creatures. It was all new to her. But she was willing to do anything for Clifton, Splint, and the other Superforming people.

The young teenaged girl waited for his answer patiently.

Clifton stopped abruptly, Do you like it here on the Island? , her words echoed threw him. Did he like it there? On this Island? It was something he never really thought about. Over time he grew to accept what had happened to him, and dealt with it, but did he actually like being here.

Do I like it here? he asked himself. He thought about it, if it wasn't for this Island he probably would have never met Splint or the others, and become such good friends with them.

"In a way yes, I like it here. I've made some good friends, as I hope we will become friends. But I admit that somethings bothers me, like I feel I'm forgetting something... something important." he told her.

When she heard him say that, Ashley turned, and looked at him, curiously. "Like what? The rock creatures? I've heard of them, but I never actually seen one yet."

Ashley began to wonder... what was life like before she came unto this Island? Thanks to that shipwreck, she forgot where she even came from. Even thinking of family made her wonder more.

"Uh oh, I didn't even think of how to get the others, this island is way too big to find them all on my own. Aha, the signal..." he trailed off. Rummaging in his bag Splint grabbed a small firework stick. He grabbed a match and lit it. It shot to the sky in a flood of red and exploded. When it exploded, the words formed "Meeting." Which meant everyone must meet here, at the beach.

"Now we dont have to move from here" chuckled Splint laying back in the soft sand.

Jordan looked at Splint. " Sorry what ? I was thinking of the newbies. Did you see what forms? I always figured we weren't alone but denial was a nice place to live.Can't live there anymore." she joked.

Clifton folded his arms across his chest, thinking "No, not the rock creatures. Hell my super form is Rock. Just something about my past I suppose. But I wouldn't worry to much about it."

Then in the air Clifton saw a fiery explosion in the air turn into the word 'meeting'. He grinned, as he watched it fade into nothing.

Then Clifton laughed a little, knowing full well it was Splints doing, "Splint you lazy..." he said jokingly to himself. He turned towards Ashley "We are headed to the beach now. You might like it." After saying that he started walking in the direction he knew Splint would be in.

Lorik heard a loud explosion in the air while he waited for a reply from the female he was with. The explosion turned into the word 'meeting'. He watched it curiously, following the trial it looked like where it came from "the beach?" he pondered to himself.

He sighed, turning around he looked at the female "You have a choice, I can leave you here alone, or you can come with me."

Lorik didn't wait for an answer, he was to impatient at times, especially when something happened he found interesting. But deep inside of him, he felt something stir, possibly he hoped the girl was following him, but he'd never admit to it.

"Heh" he replied lightly in a half interested tone. No, I saw no forms. This meeting will show though, and us, me, you and clifton will train these lot. As I know, Cory, Mike, Jamie and the others wont come...., thye have seemed to abandoned the place. I guess they will be replaced too..."

Ashley followed Cilfton, towards where the sign was once at in the sky. She knew that deep down... this was going to be an adventure of her life.

Glancing down, she wondered if her new powers were going to work for her new friends. She didn't want to hurt them, because her form was Fire. She had to be real careful.

She looked at Clifton, and grinned. "I can't wait to see what this meeting's about. I'm eager to meet everyone else."

Clifton started to laugh slightly. He shook his head, he wasn't so sure there was going to be a meeting. But he knew Splint was a clever one, maybe a little lazy, but none the less clever. Inside he knew something was wrong though, he knew the others wouldn't show, wasn't sure why, but he knew it.

"I think Splint is just being a little lazy today, thats all." he finally said.

"Aha, they're coming" he sighed. Not many, just the newbies, Clifton and that girl. Splint sniffled lightly. This was upsetting. Look what had happened.

The group used to be a team of 10 or 11 of great friends. Now what? A bunch of novice newbies who need showing how to use this stuff for good. The others are growing up, not interested in going on an adventure anymore. Not interested in being a saviour.

Just, Clifton, Splint and Jordan were left. The true ones who never gave up, Andrew would have stayed, but he was killed. And now more were going to die because of the screats.

"Hey guys" he muttered lightly. "We do have a meeting, but something else aswell.."

Clifton waved his had at Splint as him and Ashley stepped onto the beach. It was a drastic change from the hard ground of the forest floor, to the soft sand that now laid beneath his feet. East step he took, the ground moved slightly, and in his wake his foot steps.

Examining the ground around he saw other foot steps as well. Slightly to Clifton's surprise he saw Jordan with Splint. He waved at her as well. Stopping in front of Splint he said "Ashley, you can take a seat anywhere."

Clifton now looked at Splint who was sitting on the ground. "So what is the meeting about Splint?"

Arisa followed Lorik from a distance then ditched him for a shortcut she knew.She would reach the place before him. She knew the island well enough.

Jordan looked at Splint. " Well that will certaintly let the newbies know where to come, along with some enemies too."

"Ah, two more coking" he mumbled. "They can listen from there" he grumbled.

Splint got up from the sand and looked around at the small team.

"Hi, My name is Splint, and I am a Crystal Warrior. My superform is Water. I take it all of you have superforms. I already know Jordan, her superform Magic, and Clifton, superform rock.

Our other friends, who once travelled with us have abandoned us. They have lost interested in the Island, and escaped. They couldn't take it much longer. They lost their powers.

The Screats, yes those rocky creatures are our enemies, and our not pretty. They like this chance, and have built a new weapon to destruct us, and Crystal Island.

This is no coincidence, you've all been sent here, you may not know it, but yes.

Also, me, clifton and jordan need to train you... It shant take long."

Clifton sat in the sand, feeling it between his fingers. It felt nice, and warm. He listened at Splint was giving his speech. He knew when he left, Splint would make a good leader, and this was good training for him.

"Well" Clifton finally spoke up "Since how there are three of us, and three of them. We each could take one, One on one training would be more effective then a big group."

Lorik leaned against a near by tree, listening. He noticed the the female got there before him, but wasn't concerned about it. He saw three more people he didn't know, two females, and one male. The male looked older then the rest, and one of the females seemed realtivly young.

"Training" Lorik muttered to himself. He continued to listen to the people talk. When the meeting was over, if what was going to happen didn't interest him, he'd find a way to leave, like the others did apparently.

"You take Ashley you know her...... ya lovebirds" he smirked under his breath out of earshot. Splint liked to tease.

"Urrr, you guy over there" he said poiting at Lorik. "I'll take you on for training. What's your superform?"

Ashely sat on a nearby rock, listening to Splint's speech. After the speech, she got up, and walked towards Clifton. Calling them 'lovebirds' made her more timid.

When she glanced at Lorik, she could tell that he was the type you didn't want to mess with. But she didn't say anything about it.

The shy young girl scratched her ear, waiting for their next mission.

Lorik gritted his teeth, with a deep breath he calmed down. "Its silver." he finally said. Standing straight up now "Why do you we need training exactly?"

He figured he already knew the answer but he needed it to be confirmed. Thinking while the gave his speech he figured he'd have to play along if he was ever going to get answers to the questions he wanted.

Clifton stood up and faced Ashley. He could still feel some sand remaining on his fingers. Rubbing them against his palm he felt the grains of sand slowly trickle off his skin and fall back to the beach floor.

Hearing Loriks question he responded "To fight, and protect this Island. Thats why we all are here. If you don't want to protect this Island then I suggest you find something of value you to want to protect, or else your useless."

Splint nodded to Clifton.

"I doubt any of you, know how to properly use your powers. I had two friends, with the silver form. They were great people, and great fighters. Now, a silver form is the second strongest. If you dont use it wisely, then it can over power you, and you'll use all control on your body.

There is two types of way you can attack and defend. There is the mecagnism force. You can control all metal things around you. It takes ALOT of time to learn, I know my friend spent along time mastering it. The other, is simple brute force. You can use both of these to defend.

Now, as you can see it's alot more in depth than you would think."

As if she was in class, learning, Ashley raised her hand nervously. "Um... Splint? Do you know how many days we'll learn our powers?"

Ashley knew it was a silly question. But she really wanted to know when they would become true masters of their new powers.

She was also scared if there was going to be war on the Island. If it occurred... what if they lost? Ashley tried hard not to think about it, and looked at Splint again, waiting for his answer.

"How long?" stuttered Splint turning away from Lorik briefly. "I have not even mastered them, only the finest can master. To learn the basics, a week if you dont try very hard, a couple of days if we knuckle down and constantly train."

He turned back to Lorik.

"Let me so you transform, so I can inspect how strong your form is.."

Clifton placed a gentle hand on Ashley's shoulder "Don't worry alright? I won't let nothing happen to you. Got to protect my replacement after all." he said the last part jokingly.

"Follow me" he said to Ashley. He started to walk to a cliff he knew well. It was quiet and peaceful. They could talk better one on one there. So he could get a better idea of what she could and could not do.

Lorik placed his hands in his pockets "tsk..." he was growing aggravated again.

training...inspection...what am I some kind of puppet to be played with. he said to himself. Then he felt pain course threw his body. He grabbed his sides and fell to his knees. Bending over the sand, he started gripping it with this hands, the loose fragments of it slipped threw his fingers.

"Not again" he muttered to himself. He was fighting what ever was trying to come out. Pushing it back, he wouldn't give in, not again.
