Let's start with the idea that I know nothing about modding. However, I want to edit the original version of the game (v1.02a).

Was wondering what you guys recommend:
-documents to read
-programs to get
-any other things I need to know

Any help from people who have modded Outcast, especially if you were involved with modifications that significantly altered gameplay such as: adding new character animations (ie. new moves, not skins or models), saber blade thickness, blocking on/off toggling, etc.
