I am not sure if making a new map is possible, since I haven't been able to find how to do it, with my searching for information so I thought that I would see if anyone could help me on these forms.

I am looking for a tutorial on how to make maps, or at least edit the original ones into something different. If someone could give me a link to a good tutorial on how to do this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey revanmg, welcome to the forums :waive1:, If your just getting into modding i suggest that you start with a few smaller mods first, as Module editing can be very difficult, i found that out when i wanted to do what you are wanting to do, i went ahead and did it anyway and failed miserably, though now module editing is my specialty.

You should go to the Getting started with modding + List of Tools + downloads (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143421) thread to get you started.

There are some tutorials here (http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=592) that you can read through and see what you want to do.

But just because you asked and I'm nice :D there is a Module Creation guide here (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=130451), It's a little outdated but it does the job, I'm currently writing an updated Module Creation guide with all the easier ways to do this.

Hope this helped. :D

thanks, that was helpful I will check these out. I have looked at the Getting started with modding thing although I wanted a more in depth resource. I have modded for other games but these tools are much more different and I want to figure out how they work. I am defiantly going to look at the links you provided. Thanks again.
