10 years ago, Lara Croft started her adventures in Tomb Raider 1 for the PlayStation 1. From then on a series of games spawned using the name, but none able to hold the same feel as the original. The original had smart, creative, and fun puzzles on a large amount of levels with just the right amount of combat to put you on your feet.

Within the month, a remake of the original has been released for PlayStation 2.

And of course, the strong, smart, and beautiful Lara Croft :P

So, anybody here but me a huge fan of the Tomb Raider games? Me and my sister have been playing them for 10 years now and still love the series with a passion. When we heard a remake of the original was being made, my jaw dropped. I still take out my original copy and play it now and then for kicks. My parents even enjoyed playing the game as a family activity because it was so fun to try and figure out the puzzles and watch as each step gets you closer to a new death.

For anybody that played Tomb Raider: Legend, this game uses the same system for this game. Great graphics for it's system, new weapons, new gadgets, and a group of new levels to explore. Reviews are currently great!

Going to grab this the first chance I get.

I was never a huge fan of the old games just because the control scheme was so damn bad. But Legend was fun and I'm hoping Anniversary for Wii will be a good game, one I plan to pick up if it gets good reviews.

When is X-Wing VS Tie Fighter's anniversary btw? I'll send a wee postcard to LA...

I own Anniversary and it is a good game. I never played the PS1 games, but I got Legend on the PS2 and I got addicted. Anniversary is a much better game than Legend and I got the Collector's Edition from Game. Very nice and I'm only on Egypt!
