Hello. This is my first time posting here, although I'm reasonably familiar with modding the KotOR games.

This should be fairly simple, and maybe it's me being daft, but does anyone know how to edit the colour of blaster bolts in TSL? I'm not really too fussed about the bolt models, it just irritates me that some of the blaster bolts are white, which in my opinion looks really ugly.

I've tried a couple of things, but the only one that has come close to working is editing the files fx_laser_01.tga and fx_laser_02.tga, and while this works to recolour the white bolts, it also recolours the red bolts too, so I end up with nice the nice green bolts I want, but the red ones are turned a horrible brown colour.

Is there any way of editing the colour of JUST the white bolts, without mucking about with .2da files and whatnot?

Thanks.

There was a discussion about this a while ago :). Clicky (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=148934)

If you have trouble with understanding things in the topic then don't hesitate to ask around here :).

Edit: Oh and, welcome to the forums :waive1:

Is there not a simpler way of doing it without editing .2da files? I've never really done any .2da editing myself before, and it looks horribly complicated...

Edit: Scratch that, sorted! :) No more ugly white blaster bolts!

Thanks Pavlos.
