I saw a mod for Oblivion and I was wondering if the same could be done with KotOR II... an online mod. I am willing to pay for the server. I just don't know where else to start, if this can even be done.

I was thinking of players being able to choose their PC chars from KotOR II or being able to pick NPCs, like Calo Nord, Bastila, Vrook, and so on. Just like in the beginning of the game they could also edit their stats. Also, we could choose what level we want in our game. Level 10, Level 20, etc, and what level you choose will change how far up you can go with your stats.

Alignment, class, and weapon could also be picked. If someone wants Vrook as a bad guy with a red saber they could have him that way. Or they could give Calo Nord his blasters or just a vibrosword. I think only the people who were really Jedi could pick Jedi classes online.

As for the fighting... I don't know about every man for himself. Someone's going to play dirty and team someone else. So, I guess it'd have to be teams. Four against four? Or three against three... whatever works here.

i dont think its possible. but i could never get the oblivion online mod to work. if you want something like this i would say go spend 10 bucks on jedi academy which has online play and can make custom models that at the moment are not possible in kotor

I'm going to get Jedi Academy too! I was gonna buy it earlier but it wasn't in.

Anyhow, the reason I want to do this is cause I have a lot of time on my hands and I think people would enjoy it a lot. =P You may be right though. If it could be done I think it would've been by now.

im getting ready to buy the knights of the nine expansion and jedi outcast, knights just got restocked at my walmart for $10 so im getting it then probably forces of corruption expansion for empire at war. im not sure how you would get it to search for and connect to the net then be able to link between computers simultaneously

Unfortunately, (which is a word I'm using allot lately) it isn't possible it has been disscussed here before and due to many reasons it can't be done, one of which, KoTOR doesn't support multiple PC's walking around the room, and with KotOR crashing allot with mods alone, imagine how much the game would crash if it could be done, which it can't, but beleive me i want it too, I'm one of the few people who wants to see an Online KotOR, (which is rumored to be in development by Bioware) but i won't be getting my hopes up on that as it's just a rumor and rumors most of the time aren't worth the strain of moving your eyes to read.
