If I record my own dialoge sounds (So I would be the speaker), could I just import them to a dialoge or do I have to put them somewhere/convert to a special format?

It should work to keep the sound in MP3 format (128kbps / 44 KHz). If it's for KotOR2:TSL you put them in the StreamVoice folder. On the dialog node you want the sound to play you set the name of the file (without the .mp3 extension) in the VO_ResRef field.

Check the Sound Exists checkbox and set the Delay field to -1. This will make the game pause at that dialog node as long as the sound is playing. If you set a duration manually the sound would get cut off when it proceeds to the next node (or you get silence if it pauses longer than the sound lasts).

Would it work with wma format and 160 kbps?

And do I have to put the sounds in the StreamVoice folder for K1?
