Everyone believed Warming Island was part of the massive island of Greenland. Then retreating ice uncovered that it was apparently a peninsula connected to the mainland, then the ice retreated further and it became apparent that the landmass in question was an island.

And here I sat thinking that we wouldn't discover more islands in the year of 2007. Global warming proved me wrong:p.

I'm not going to let this brand new itty-bitty island get out of my reach and prevent my plan to create a small nation from starting up. I don't want Greenpeace to take over this island and create a brand new government like it did last time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockall#Waveland_and_the_Greenpeace_occupation)...

I hereby establish the "Warming Island" provisional government, to be the offical rulers over Warming Island. I claim Warming Island as my own. Consitution forthcoming. (Yes, I'm serious...)
