im having trouble deciding wether to use avast or avg
any opinion on this would be great
AVG free is, well, free. Avast! is good but only a trial unless you want to pay. I suggest AVG Free.
AVG all the way. Except if you have a trojan on your PC...
Um, Avast is also free, I think you can pay for a premium membership, but it's not needed. I use it and it works fine.

Use both...I have avast running at all times, and run an AVG virus check every now and then as well.
Avast Home is great. Serves my needs entirely, autoupdates and even has a pretty vista style skin :)
