its a potentially gamestopping bug introduced in the expansion. it may also have an effect on the 360 versions as well. more info here. (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6168807.html)

just thought some of you guys might want to know in case you ran into a wierd problem that was causing Oblivion to crash after the expansion was installed. ;)

Hmm... nasty, thanks for pointing it out. Fortunately there is a community fix (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Shivering:Reference_Bug) out already to prevent it from happening. :) If Bethesda are as quick to fix this bug as they are to fix the animation/door/platform freeze bug then The Elder Scrolls 5 will be out long before this gets an official fix. :roleyess:

I played Morrowind but thought it was too ambitious as a game. Therefore i'm not too sure if The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would be worth playing, is this bug serious? (as in gameplay affecting). I heard that Oblivion might be coming to the PSP to be used with the PSP's WI-FI functions - i really doubt this, however.
