I just noticed noticed that the custom armor I created (which gives me +2 STR and +2 DEX) underlayed with a strengthening upgrade (ex. +2 STR, +2 CON) yields an incorrect attribute bonus when viewed at the character info screen. It shows my strength as 16 (base 14+2) rather than what should be 18 (base 14+4).
Since it was possible that my custom armor was modified incorrectly, I tested the Corellian Powersuit as well, and arrived at the same results:
Any attribute bonus from an armor upgrade that compounds on a pre-existing armor attribute bonus is not included in your total attribute statistic.
Is there a patch someone has created concerning this issue, or has no one witnessed it? Any ideas on how to fix it?

As far as I remember multiple attribute bonuses on the same item does not stack. I.e. if you have an item with two properties granting +2 Strength and +3 Strength the item will only grant +3 strength. It uses the highest bonus granted by the item, not the total sum of all properties added together. Not a bug, just how the game works. :)
