Out of The monkey Island Series and GrimFandango which one do you like best.
Even though I love monkey Island (as a series) I think GrimFandango was a much better game.

YES! I can finally join the MI vs. GF debates!(I just finished GF!)
Grim Fandango's a really kick-a s s game, but it was just a little to serious for me. Don't get me wrong, the game's hillarious, but it seemed like most of the humor came from Glottis' part. (I laughed my a s s off when he got stuck spinning around on the tree!

...That's a tough one! I...uh...I CAN'T PICK! Murray's the demonic skull that's trys so hard to be evil (and fails at it) it's ****ing hilarious! And Glottis is...well...::trys to think of the best thing to decribe Glottis::......::can't, too funny::...YEAH! They're both just too funny to pick a favorite!

obviously Glottis has the advantage of being a fat jabba but Murray could bite him repeatedly while laughing demonically. This fight has to happen - maybe LucasArts could do a short animation. that would be so cool
I think the funniest thing that manny said in GF was when thenn Russian plumber whos butt is too fat says "I have to fix this:got to cover my a s s" and Manny says "O yes, you do" or when Manny says "Good enough for me" when he picks up Meche's stockings. I can't choose between them because I love them both and they bothcarry immortal quotations!

I've never played GF, Whats it about?
The classiest game you ever played, actually, the style makes it so unlike MI, it's hard to compare them.
Why there must be one better than the other, I enjoyed both of them (haven't finished GF yet but I enjoy it).
As I also enjoyed all the others:
Loom, Monkey, Day of the tentacle, monkey II, Indy, Sam'n'Max, The Dig, Full Throttle, Monkey III, Infernal Machine.
All of them are great games, and all of them have made my life happier. I can't say that one is better than another, if there were second parts of Loom, Sam'n'Max etc....
I'd buy them all.
Don't make me choose, my...brain...hurt...argggg but I go with Sam & Max hit the road if thats a choice.

It's all down to Glottis vs. Murray? Nah. Glottis isn't particularly funny. The humour in Grim Fandango comes from the dry, witty dialogue from Manny and Domino.
Murray's great, but he's only in the last two Monkey Island games, which pretty much sucked.
The first two Monkey Island games are excellent, but for me Grim is the best.

well i preferMi, i only played the grim demo and it sucked so ill go with my fav series Mi, cos they r so witty and playable! and as 4 murray vs whoever glottis is i think murray would stride to the gates of ell with glottis head on a pole (and u no how the rest goes)

GF was great for the sophisticated film noir field and in all was a far classier game, but I also really enjoy MI for the humour

I really enjoyed the MI series and GF. All are extremely well done games. I would have to pick the MI series, just because there are more installments and more adventures to play. However, if LEC made as many GF games as there are MI games, GF would win by a definate landslide.
