Sorry - can't help you with that one. I haven't tried it but it may - although, Lucasarts probably wouldn't have put 'For the US version' in the readme!

actually i haven't had one error happen to me during playing EMI.The UK version has never had any bugs and i have completed it.

I installed the US patch on my UK EMI and it has done nothing whatsoever as far as I can tell, so it isn't useful or harmful
