in the demo, multiplayer option is not highlighted. but in gamespy arcade, it doesnt recognize that the demo is just a demo, and allows you to try to join a game, but when you try, it succesfully opens the demo, but it says, "Map blahblahblah is not on the local system." I am pretty sure that if the map from the full version was copy-pasted into the map file of the demo, multiplayer would work as long as you have gamespy. I do not have the full version, so I need a volunteer to send me there map file. just go to program files-LucasArts-Republic Commandos-Game Data and then copy the map file and e-mail the map file to me. my email is menos66666@hotmail.com
Ya, I think it is illegal to port from the original game into the demo.
Just buy it. It's on ebay for next to nothing.
Xarga, you are probobly right that it would be illegal.........
And another thing.. I downloaded a free modded map (definity not illegal) and put it in the demo map file and re-named it "Entry" so when I selected new game it went straight to the modded map. Just an interesting sidenote..
Seriously, you aren't late to the Multiplayer party. There are still 1,000 of people playing online. And don't call me XARGA, call me :CLONECOMMANDER501
There are still 1,000 of people playing online. I can see why after I played the demo.

...You know there's a thread where you can have your name changed.
I asked and no one responded, these forums are so dull, I mean, I see people who've been mambers since 2004 and only have 43 posts and they just posted yesterday, it's a shame :<
