I haven't met a single person on these forums who doesn't love video games.
Jack Thompson hates them. He has sued several game companies because he thinks they cause "violence".
Jack Thompson promised to give 10,000 dollars to charity if someone made a game about a person who takes revenge on video game companies. when several were made, he said it was a joke. So, the creators of the webcomic Penny Arcade, gave the money on his behalf .On the check was "For Jack Thompson, because Jack Thompson won't."
Jack Thompson tried to get them arrested.
To me he seems like a horrible person. Who agrees?
Jack Thompson hates gays for no reason. Homophobia is gay, no pun intended, and I personally think that his hatefulness is gonna send him to hell.
I haven't heard about this video game thing though, what a laugh. If he thinks he's going to do the right thing and try to get rid of violent video games, he really shouldn't do it with so much hate, since in the end he's still promoting it, which = bad.
I'm against him b/c of him blaming a person's violent behavior on the the video game industry and not their social life, upbringing, and personality. It's always somebody else's fault.
