Well the RealMyst demo was released today (or yesterday I guess, it's after midnight http://www.escapemi.com/forums/tongue.gif). I'm not sure how many of you like Myst (I'm one of the few), but even if you don't the demo is worth taking a look at just for the graphics. Absolutaly beautiful. Best graphics I have ever seen. You'll need a pretty slick system to run it though, but if you meet the reqs be sure and try it out.

You can get it <a href="http://www.avault.com/realmyst/">here</a>) if you're interested.

I have the original Myst, I mean it looks good, but I found it to dull and stiff when compared to LEC games.

Well I did play Myst when I only about 12 I think, so I should go and give it another shot.

I just prefer the humor and interaction of LEC games.

while playing myst for the first time, did you ppl ever get the feeliing that there's somthing out to get you in the game, like entering a room in that ship in a mountain world and wondering if there's an evil force behind your back?

I always felt like there was something that was going to scare you in the next room.but there wasn't anything, ever. The guys who made it were real good. BTW real myst is pretty awesome and every true to the originals style of play and graphics.

YES! I felt that everytime I played the game - in all I only ever felt safe in really wide open spaces like the woods; going down into the generator room was a nightmare! http://www.escapemi.com/forums/wink.gif)

Don't forget that, if you actually bought the first Myst, the ending basically said "congradulations, buy my sequal".

Lowsy rip off. I thought it was really easy too, but I find logic (or un-logic as it were) puzzles easy.

there is no point to myst. u can beat it in like 10 min.

i read those burnt books in the library thing with the fire place, and it TOLD me how wo bet the game, turn all the switches on, turn one off (had to find the right one) and then use that other book with the codes to get to the green book. DONE
