StarWarsKnights.com (http://www.starwarsknights.com/) is pleased to (somewhat belated) present you the results of the 2006 Top Mods and Fan Fiction Awards vote. Great job to everyone who contributed, and congratulations to the winners and those nominated.

For the Reader's/Player's Choice, we asked our members (that's you) to nominate their favorite mods and fan fictions and then arranged a vote among the nominations submitted. The winners were determined by the number of votes received.

Meanwhile our fan fiction editors, Jae Onasi (http://www.lucasforums.com/member.php?u=127199) and machievelli (http://www.lucasforums.com/member.php?u=125916), have been hard at work compiling their lists of the best fan fictions from 2006 among all the impressive stories posted during the year. All in all, it's a fantastic collection of quality work made for your enjoyment by this great community!

Check our Community Awards (http://www.starwarsknights.com/mod_week.php) page to see the full results and winners in all categories.

Belated Response to the '2007 Top Mods Results'
After looking at the response on LucasFiles.com, I felt it was necessary to thank the 11,797 (estimated) people who downloaded the mod. I would also like to thank everyone who voted in the poll, left feedback, and helped in the Dark Apprentice's development.

Okay. Now that has been said. I just want people to look around the forums. I arrived to LucasForums.com in November 2004, but I have been involved at pcgamemods.com for a good four months before my arrival. Before my invitation to these forums, from my perspective, the KotOR I modding community was just a list of mod names and creators. As I became 'dramatically' involved with the community, I took notice at the large group that has been assembled. We have some of the most creative, engaged, and unique modders online. People have donated their time into creating tools, skins, planets, lightsabers, etc... From my own personal perspective, I have developed some deep respect for everyone involved. You see, LucasForums is not about LucasArts or LucasFilms. LucasForums is about a large diverse group of people who got together, and started to converse about something they like.

I just wanted to say 'thank you', for all the hard work, feedback, and fun 'you' put into the Star Wars forums.
