I recently had to uninstall BFII manually (meaning that I deleted the entire file.) Unfortunately, my computer does not view the game as uninstalled. If I try to install the v 1.1 patch, it will tell me that my game is already up to date. This is very frustrating, since there is no support for custom maps on v 1.0. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can uninstall BF II manually. Why can't you just use the unistaller that came with the game?? It can be found in the SWBFII folder.
