Since I was young, and watching mork and mindy, I got my inspiration from--though don't always agree with-- the highly charismatc Robin Williams. I've grown up doing imitations and impersonations for comedy and other. I'm not the best in the entire world obviously, but I feel as though I could offer at least something. The less extreme the better.
For you modders, I offer my services. A K1 or K2 mod voice--or voices. I do a variety of voices--male only..... Unless you REALLY want one like "Bev Bighead" from the cartoon Rocko's Modern Life, or women's ultra deep and low voiecs thar are scary and creepy....which I will resist doing!
I can do a variety of acting for voices. For menial roles or important ones. Synthesizing and digitizing can help.
I would do your unique characters primarily--not originally in the game. However, I'll try out main character roles. I'll try my best to match in-game characters (fair warning: this may not sound close enough); or I'll replace them completely if you don't like the acting that came built-in. Perhaps an NPC.
I know how to "Act Out" parts, I don't spek in monotone nor like I'm being held hostage.
Since everybody has differing opinions on what sounds good I cannot gaurantee others will like it, but if you like it then that is all that matters to me if and when you enlist my services.
Send me a private message or simply reply here. I will check from time to time.
Though it might be nice advertising and sowcasing, I'm not coming to you wanting you to offer me something, I AM volunteering my services to you.
Keep in mind, though, be respectful. With that out of the way, how may I be of help to you?
Thank you for your time.
Regards...
i can, didnt read cus i gotta go to school, but i can give you voice samples later
How's your HK-47 GTA:SWCity? If your interested invoice acting there might be a point in the near future where I could use a Voice actor on a mod.
I've had a little bit of acting training myself.
As a bonus, I'm a self-trained writer, too. If anyone has dialogue scripts they want me to proofread or maybe even punch up a little, I'm your guy.

we always need more voicers.

It depends what you want. I don't sound exactly like him--it'd take a little work, but I think I could do ya. Are we replacing lines, or making new ones and I have to match and compensate?
Do be mindful, I am throwing myself out without having done this on a professional level before. I'd be interested. I don't have fancy computer recording stuffs. But I have the voice talent. I suppose I have your basic recording programs that I'd need for windows. With these a minimal amount of tweaking and manipulating can be done.
I'm not sure how they synthesized the voice to make it sound that sort of recorded or electronic. It would take some messing around.
I can only get to it as needed--especially if it is a free service.
I can do some inhuman voices, but those are not easy.
Also, some questions if I may:
Are you in USA?
If yes, Are you in California or Nevada?
If yes are you near Sacramento, CA? Or Carson City, NV?
Do you have any equipment to record and synthesize with?

Where do I go? I'd love to.
Well I've been slowly working on Project THOR which at some point I'm going to have need of voice actors. One of the many characters will be an HK series droid. So there is no need to be exactley the same.
I'm not in a rush for a voice actor as there is still much more to do however it is good to line people up early. Even when I do need you it's not like I'll say give me a recording by next week or get lost as that defies the mentality of modding being something done in ones freetime. However If ever get myself off the ground developing an actual game it is always good to have people handy that I've worked with on mod projects previously.
My location is actually North of California and Nevada in the wonderfully green state of Oregon in the heaviest population zone of the Portland Metro area. My sister lives in San Diego and I visit her occasionally though, does that count?

EEsh--city life. I don't mind visiting, but I'm a mountain guy. So what if some say that we think dumb? At least we're not in need of technology if earth reverts to the dark ages.
AAAAnyway;
Well, perhaps if you could stop somewheres in South Lake Tahoe on a trip down to see your sister, that would be fine. If you want to exchange info--well I'd like to, but I think we need to be more in private. I'm not sure how you and I can send private messages here on lucasforums or how to enable them in my settings. I think you can talk to a moderator to make/establish contact. Or I could whip up an email real quick and post it--but I think that might get me in trouble. But I'd like to make contact...
:)
BTW--Darth333 edited and chewed you out for the other one, for the Vice City.
Oh, Thank you for your concerns m'lady. Quite maternal and fair, for a sith.
I've been insulted so much worse, so actually this was kind by comparison--if it escalated though, then I suppose it'd be a problem. But I think Mr Darkkender and I are hitting it off fairly well.
