We all have fears. It's normal, it's human. The question is: what is yours?

It makes sense, cute things (like ameobas) are often dangerous. Those big innocent eyes! *runs awiaz*

I am afraid of: being completely out of place, and the wild. Serengeti, pinewoods, you name it. If I'm alone and there, I'm afraid.

Oh, yeah, the death of a loved one is truly a nightmarish thing to imagine; it's made worse by the fact that it's inevitable, that it's going to keep on happening, and that you never get used to it. :(

Unless you die first, which is still pretty scary. Yeah, think a lot of people are afraid of that one.

I'm not that afraid of death...hardly at all in fact...unless it comes after the long drawn out illness. Other people's deaths terrify me.

I feel your fear about the spiders Thrik. I think I posted a whole bunch o' stuff on them here before. Suffice to say i hate them with a passion. Especially if they are near your bed or on you sleeping. That is crossing the line on the peace treaty we have with any and all other animals on this Earth. From there on out it's war. I now own an electric fly swatter that can make them extra crispy extra quick.

I saw a great little thing in a magazine once: the spider catcher. It's basically just a low level vacuum with a lengthy tube on it so you can catch them from far away, where they're then stuck in a little box.

Never did get one. :(

^I had a panic attack once, suffice to say, it wasnt that great :(

Spiders freak me out, I cannot go to sleep when I know theres one nearby. Normally I'm lying in bed, minding my own business, I decide to crane my head to the left, to look at a certain patch of ceiling, and OMG...theres a spider there, happens all the time, I hate it.

I saw a shark once.......when I was in the ocean. Needless to say, I ran, or swam, for my life.(thank GOD I'm a fast swimmer)

As for snake, I don't like them cause I ran into one like a year back. It was coiled up and 6 feet long. I screamed so loud that a kid who lived across the street heard me. And again ran like the fastest I've ever ran to get away.

Dude, I freakin lost my flip flop and it bit it. BIT IT.

I'm not that good of a swimmer, and I don't like being in a body of water that I cannot stand up in, or see the bottom of....

Yeah, I don't like the ocean at all; you'd never catch me swimming out in it, and the same goes for any deep body of water for pretty much exactly the same reasons as you.

I used to have nightmares of falling off a boat into the ocean and then just continuing downwards and downwards, as if there were no force to keep me on the top; almost as if somebody'd attached a heavy weight to my legs or something, except they hadn't. Of course I'd wake up before actually drowning to death.

^ When I was on a Catamaran to Guernsey once, the person I was with told me that the propellers oxgenate the water behind the boat so much, that if you jumped in, you'd just sink, without a hope of getting to the surface. I had bad dreams about that soon after *shudders*
