Yea, I like rock too. I recently got into Taproot, and I like Shinedown, Linkin Park, some Ac-Dc now and then and yea maybe some queen. Alot of older rock is better I think. Here in CT we only have one real rock radio station left. All others have been changed or gone out of buisness. And it's an independent station.

Hahah. It's better then Rap. I'm not sure why it's so popular here. Ohh I do live in the same town as 50 cent though. He bought Mike Tyson's old mansion that's only like 10 minute from my house. We went there once on Halloween and some guy yelled at us. Oh fiddy......

On a less serious note:
I wish I was a hippie. I would wear Tye-dye shirts ALL THE TIME!!!!!! And play Hacky sack and hug trees and stuff. I would even marry a tree. And have little tree kids. Little Sapplings. Named Bark and Woody. And we would live in the sky, in a environmentally friendly helicopter/blimp.

I'm sorry but I'm not a big "Nature/Animal" person.

I like Bird-Watching and stuff like that but I've got more important stuff than hugging a tree.

My computer is being crappy, so I didn't get any audio with it. But seeing all the stuff they do is pretty neat. My cousin was going to join the marines but a shoulder injury prevented him. I just watched a thing tonight about September 11, and it still is pretty intense. I don't really think Bush had the best intentions when he decided to invade Iraq, but I do think it's good that Saddam is finally gone.

I listen to Electronica, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Rap, Rock, alternative, Pop, and...(wait for it)

ELTON JOHN!

Not that I can tell you about any of the genres I listen to. I can't list off band names or that type of thing. But I love all music so it's cool with me.

Since I started using the absolutely fabulous Last.fm (http://www.last.fm/user/dwishart/) in August 2005, my musical taste has taken this shape:

(Band / Plays)
1 The Doors 754
2 King Crimson 699
3 Jefferson Airplane 639
4 Grateful Dead 475
5 Hawkwind 379
6 Pink Floyd 334
7 Deep Purple 278
8 Black Sabbath 266
9 The Velvet Underground 179
10 Clint Bajakian 174

Clint Bajakian is only there because of the Grim Fandango soundtrack which I think is incredible, and it only has eight more song plays than Iron Butterfly, so he drops in and out of the top 10 all the time. Of course, this doesn't represent my entire taste in music either, but it's surprising to see that there's a difference between what I'd call my 'favourite bands' and the bands I actually listen to the most. Although, I'd have to say my top 3 is pretty much spot on, although not necessarily in that order.

Songs your choir SHOULD be singing.

Doctor martin's boots- Alexei Sayle
Jesus of Suburbia- Green Day
that song by the John Butler trio, you know, the one that goes: bu da bu ba na na, bu na na na etc,
American Pie.
Self Esteem- The Offspring.

There are many more...

I can't find songs on youtube for the ones we sing, but I'll write them out:

The Crawdad Song:

You get a line, I'll get a pole, honey *Clap* Honey, honey!
You get a line, I'll get a pole, babe *Clap* Honey- babe,
You get a line, I'll get a pole, we'll meet at the crawdad hole, Honey*Clap*-- babe of mine * clap clap clap*

(don't remember the second verse)

What will you do when the pond goes dry, Hoeny *Snap* Honey honey
What will you do when the pond goes dry, Babe *snap* Honey- babe,
What will you do when the pond goes dry, I'll fill it up with the tears I cry, Honey *snap*-- Babe of mine! Boo- hoo hoo!

I heard a duck say to a drake, Honey *Quack* Honey honey
I heard a duck say to a drake, Babe *Quack* Honey- Babe,
I heard a duck say to a drake, There's no crawdads in this lake, Honey *Quack*-- Babe of mine! *Quack quack quack*

And then a bunch of Crawdad chanting
Boys chant Craw- dad! like five times while the girls sing, 'Crawdad, crawdad, feelin' fine! Crawdad!' Til the end of the song.

I'll edit the rest later. Have to go.
