Hi, I'm new here. Sorry to be rude, but I wanted to brag.

I just got in the mail my S&M Sketchbook and Max/Pirates t-shirt! Woo.

Sorry, I'm just so happy and wanted someone to tell someone who would appreciate it. My roommate just looked at me when I showed her.

I ordered the two things direct from Steve Purcell. I sent him an email saying I heard about the merch at the ComicCon and asked him where I could buy it. He had me PayPal him the payment and he mailed them out the next day. He was running low on mens shirts.

It is actually a threaded set of 10 4x6 postcards on cardstock.

It's like 5"x8", black & white/greyscale, about 70 pages long.

Steve wrote that it would be available at Telltale also.

But don't you want to be exclusive?

I'm definitely pro-exclusivity, and I'm alright with my monies going directly to Steve Purcell. Plus, I wonder if he'd still be personalizing them through the Telltale site?

I'm from Sonoma. Going to school in Santa Fe now. Stevie P actually replied to my email and said he went down to Santa Fe last year and loved it. I got all excited like a little schoolgirl and wrote him a long email about how Lucas Valley Ranch should be called Hidden Valley Ranch, because I tried to sneak in once but the gate security said "there's no such thing as Lucas Valley Ranch, this is Big Rock Ranch". I gave them the old shuttle tyderian treatment, but they wouldn't fall for it (I was in a 1990 chevy cargo van at the time). Anyway Steve stopped replying to my emails after that.

We were replying emails to each other but it just took me mentioning getting Sullivan Entertainment to put the Sam and Max TV series to DVD to coincide with the game release to stop him from writing back to me.

They sure have the hats for it.

In other news, I got my sketchbook too! He drew Max in it and wrote my name and I think I'm going to even save the box. That was a pretty rad feeling.

I threw the box away. You're a sentimental jackass.

Did your max come in color? Mine didn't. If yours did I will gut you.

Hey Itchy, post quotes from the parts in the book where they tell him to change stuff in the show. That part was funny, but I don't have time to copypasta (oops) right now.
