I'm new, and there is probobly a thread for this already, but my search gave me no result, so I post my problem anyway.
When I start Jedi Outcast, I hear a sound similar to the one you get on error messages in Windows XP. No Error message appear, however. After that, a gray screen lock the hole computer. I have to use Alt + F4 to get out of it.

I use dual core processor. Can that be the problem? This happens on Jedi Academy to. Both Multiplayer and Singleplayer crashes on the same way. I have installed the latest patch.
