I tried to start both the map editor and EaW and have gotten an error that says it could not find a compatible Direct3D device...uh...okay. I have no clue what it means and I'd really like to play my game. It just suddenly did this for no apparent reason. It worked, I closed the program. I tried to open the map editor and there it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*edit*-Okay, now ALO viewer won't work either. I just reinstalled directx and that didn't fix it either. I'm gonna restart my comp and see if that will help. Also, no mods installed.

It might be worth re-installing the game. First, uninstall it through the control panel - but instead of selecting a full uninstall, select repair - may the force be with you.
