I've seen people on multiplayer with Blank names and even two people with exactly the same name. The server was running JA+ and I thought JA+ fixed the multiple name and blank name problem? How are they doing this?

It has fixed neither. It attempts to fix the same name problem but easily gotten around although i'm not going to say how. But EnsiMod and xMod have both fixed the blank name problem. As well as ^8 and ^9 from being used.
What's wrong with using ^8 and ^9?
They are not color codes.
