Is there a mod out that changes the rediculous strength of Super Battle Droids?
Not that I know of. And they aren't that strong, just aim better xD
use an Anti-Armor round for instant SBD pwnage. ;)
StatusQ3']Not that I know of. And they aren't that strong, just aim better xD
Which is not difficulty, since SBDs have twice a clone size.
Super Battle droids are, IMO, as strong as Droidikas SHOULD be. SBDs did not have those huge arm cannons, and it shouldn't take three clips from my DC-17 to kill them. Droidikas should be the really tough every-so-often-mini-bosses.
What you should do is four things:
1. With the DC-17 anti-armor attachment, aim for the legs, instant kill.
2. For the sniper or blaster attachment, aim for the big red dot (Scorch qoute) on the chest(chest panel?).Should take one or two clips from either weapon.
3. Use the wookie homing rocket launcher, aim for the head(duck or die!!!).
4. Use the trandoshan heavy repeater, also aim for the head.
Whoa, major thr34d revive :D

Those aren't the normal SBD'S They are B-2A Driods. Here is the article:
"A second type of super battle droid was produced, the B-2A, which was used for clearing Republic starships and protecting vital assets. These droids were often encountered by Clone Commandos. These droids replaced one arm, with a huge cannon, which was strong enough to cause damage to Katarn armour. These droids were able to utilize an energy shield to protect themselves from Grenade blasts and had more advanced armour which was able to take damage from a DC-17m assault repeater. These droids, however, had deadly weaknesses, which were exploited by Clone Commandos. They often wore darker armour than the battlefield configuration of the B-2 series."
Someone sure knows his stuff. I just noticed those shield things when I was playing today, guess there are two different versions.
No, I don't know my stuff, I just have time on my hands.
I wish they put the second version of the SBD in
There were two versions put in.
I played a level with each kind in it last night, and I noticed a difference.
is it cut content or something?
No.
Just a subtle change in the gameplay really; the SBDs get darker tones, and they're harder to kill.
So where are the different kinds?
