Technically, there's two new lightsabers, one using the old viridian from K2 and renaming it jade, and a neatish looking red blade with a silver glow. The new viridian is a recolor and works by overriding. So, two new lightsabers but three new blades.

Get them at PC Game Mods (http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/18705.html) or at my site (http://www.princessartemis.com/images/mods/k2virid.html), along with screenshots and most of the readme.

I dunno about anyone else, but when I first started playing K2 and realized there were viridian lightsabers, I was excited. Viridian, next to Alizarin Crimson, is my favorite oil color. I was actually offended when I saw what they passed off as viridian in K2. It's...chartruese. Spring-green. Something that could never be viridian.

So here I am, trying to fix it. It's still not quite viridian, but it's as dark a green as I can get right now without making a black 'saber. There's nothing special about the hilts--this is purely a re-texture, although I needed to make custom lightsabers with color crystals to use the colors.

They're compatible with USM as long as USM was installed first.

Cheat in the new bloodstone/hematite lightsaber by using g_w_lghtsbr77, etc. Jade (the original TSL viridian) is g_w_lghtsbr78. They come in short and double varieties as well. The color crystals are u_l_colo_77 and u_l_colo_78. No need to cheat in viridian, although if you want to, they're g_w_lghtsbr11 and u_l_colo_9 as I recall.

This also replaces the viridian lightsaber .uti with a more appropriate looking crystal and description, switching out the original viridian so it's now the jade crystal.

Ahh, nice Hematite. That gets an A++ from me as I think upon a Sith weilding that color.

I cannot get the TSL patcher to work. It gives me an error on the config.ini file and the readme.rtf file.

What error specifically is it giving you?

Here is the exact messages I get:
"Cannot locate the INI files "changes.ini" with work instructions.

Unable to load the instructions text! Make sure "tslpatch data" folder containing the "info.rtf" file is located in the same folder as this application.

I have other mods that use the TSL patcher and they work okay.

Hrum. It's in there, although it's possible the .zip file didn't retain the folder structure. Try DLing it again, and extracting it to its own folder. If, when you do, there's no tslpatchdata folder, make one and stuff everything except TSLPatcher.exe into it.

If it didn't retain the folder structure, let me know and I'll re-zip it.

I've already tried that about four times and it still doesn't work.

Gaaaah. I'll re-zip it and reupload it just in case...just did it (new upload is at my site), and I checked the .zip to make sure the folder structure is intact and it is. It should work so long as it's unzipped into its own folder so that TSLPatcher has the tslpatchdata right there. So, try re-DLing it and see if unzipping it it works...if not, then I dunno what to say. Maybe you could try copying over a version of TSLPatcher from another mod that you know works.

If you're familiar with .2da editing, you could just manually add the two new lines to your upcrystals.2da if you have one in Override (otherwise use the one included and put it in Override). changes.ini says exactly what needs to go in the new lines, then drop the rest of the files in Override.

To everyone else, glad you like...I hope y'all aren't having trouble installing it to :/
