((Holy smoke. What are you, as fast as Quicksilver?))
Jynn locked her sabers with Alex and glared at him with flashing green eyes. "You're completely right," she said. "He isn't worth it. What he said isn't worth it. What he did... is." She broke the lock and assumed an aggressive stance. "Now, nothing personal, but get out of my way."
((Actually, it took me an hour and 5 minutes to post after you posted.))
"Remember the Jedi Code Jynn, there is no emotion, there is peace. Anger leads to hate Jynn, do not fall to what he is, to what you swore to protect the Republic from," He said, backflipping once Jynn broke off the lock. He noticed her stance and held his Lightsaber's hilt with the point of the blade pointing at his ankle, forming an arc.
((I meant your character. Sorry.))
"Apparently, someone overlooked a small matter called justice when compiling the Jedi Code," Jynn said bitterly. "And strangely enough, though you and I and every other Jedi swore to protect the Republic and the galaxy from such as him," gesturing towards the Sith, "we are somehow expected to stand by and let him roam around free? Not only that, we need to work with him? Give him access to our plans, let him figure out our weak points?" She sighed, noticing Alex's defensive posture, and deactivated her lightsaber. "Evidently, we even need to defend him."
Clipping her saber to her belt, she took a deep breath and strode out of the room.
((Oh, yeah, that. Well, what do you wanted me to post, he arrived and they where duelling?))
Alex sighed, Sith or not, evil or good, it is not the Jedi Way.
He then turned his look to Zeryl, who seemed to be quiet all the time.
"You! You can't never stand without getting a fight, now can't you! What did you say to make her mad! I swear, i'll break the Jedi Code, if needed!" Alex said, enraged, "Wait," He took a deep breath, remembering the Jedi Code once again.
Cyphon saw Alex run off, raising an eyebrow, Cyphon just walked slowly, following behind. When he got there he didn't enter the room, he just listened to the converstion, and stood emotionless, and unseen in the other room.
"Evidently, we even need to defend him."
Cyphon heard Jynn say from the other room, then heard her coming towards the door. He backed away and let her enter the corridor and grabbed her shoulder as she passed, "Jynn, you don't like him? Here, come with me, I have something for you two to do to resolve this issue," he stated before she could respond to his question.
At this he motioned for her to follow with a weak smile. Upon entering the room he walked over to Zeryl, grabbing his shoulder he jerked the sith up. Then turning to Alex he motioned for him to back away, then he motioned for Jynn and Zeryl to stand at a slight distance from each other, facing each other. Cyphon stood to the side facing inward so he could look at either one, then he pulled out his Blue-Marble Saber and activated the blade, the beatiful cyan blade humming into existance, then he held it out to make a dividing line between the two.
"You don't trust, or like him," he said to Jynn. "You want to antaganise her," he said to Zeryl. "Is this correct?" He asked them both, but knew the answer anyways and didn't wait for responses. "Then here is how we settle it, I will be both of you; to Jynn, I am Zeryl; to Zeryl, I am Jynn, imagine that," he paused to let them soak it up. "Now! You two must fight me, both of you, at the same time, but whether you work together or not, is up to you," he paused again to let this sink in. "No striking at eachother, no taunting, that's just stupid, and Dun Moch is just an ignorant force users way of acting like a child again," he said harshly, but still weakly because of him just coming out of a coma.
"Here is the final rule, Jynn must use anger and hatred to strike at me, Zeryl must use peace and serenady to do the same, as long as any one of you two don't follow this rule; and trust me, I'll know, I will use both of my single bladed lightsabers, when one deactivates, it means you two are following this rule; the match ends when you two figure out the secret behind which you must make me turn my last saber off; the match will not end until you find this secret, if you don't, then the match goes on and on, until we collapse from exhaustion, or one of you two kills me," he said this almost cheerfully, but he could feel the others hearts sink at the last few words he said.
His speech ended, Cyphon deactivated his saber, and let his robes fall off his body to the ground, his body tight, leather-like armor showing his well built body, his every movement showed in his muscles. He stretched to his full height, wich was surprisingly even taller than his already imposing height. He pulled out his other saber, then activated them both simultaneously, twirling them at a deathdefying speed, then coming out of the twirl, and into an ancient dueling form stance, older than even the jedi order.
He glanced at the two standing near him, "game on," he said omonously.
Shadow had been awake the whole time of the confrontation so far, and for some reason he smiled under the hood the covered his face.
Reclaimer, this has gone on long enough. Stop them before they destroy themselves. You will need them for a short time once you begin to traverse the installation, the artificial, annoying, know-it-all voice came again. Shadow pushed it out of his head easier this time.
Fate had you meet as foes, but this ring will make you brothers, the deep, long, droning voice came. Shadow pushed that out also, but the statment also caused him curiousity. What did that exactly mean? What is said, or did it have a deeper meaning.
Shadow did not know why he smiled, but a just did as he listened on. Curious considering he was the one who stopped the fight earlier. Maybe he knew that he could not solve all problems of prejudice, and that sometimes they worked themselves out, for better or worse. Either way, he continued to smile under his hood.
(( omfg, that sucks MA, but oh well, how the frack is a Sith supposed to use peace and serenity or some thing lik that? you can't attack someone with peace and serenity!! why? Let me Think because Peace and Serenity are opposites of that!!!))
I know a way, why don't we cut your hands off? It works! he tought angrily.
"Game on" said Master Cyphon. Zeryl rushed forwards, but stoped before attacking Peace and Serenaty... bull****, oh well might as well do as he says he remembered and steped back,
How the hell am I supposed to attack someone with peace and serenity!? he tought Throw flowers at him?!
Cyphon saw Zeryl coming and kicked him square in the chest, sending him staggering. 'You don't understand do you? Fighting with peace and serenity is what the jedi do, you don't necesarily have to be a panzy, but you aren't allowed to get enraged, angry, or have any matter of hatred within you when you fight, it's how jedi are so at peace, and calm when they fight, though most jedi show emotion, such as stress, or anxiety in battle, it doesn't mean that they aren't at peace, or don't have serenity...for the forces sake it's in their code you moron, or have you forgotten?' He thought to himself, slipping back into his stance, waiting for one of the two to actually attack him this time.
Zeryl charged forward one with the two lightsabers at the side, an stroke him with an horizontal blow.
"Fighting with peace and serenity is what the Jedi do..."
Fight like a Jedi?! You're kidding me! this distractive tought let Cyphon be able to kick him to the ground but Zeryl stretched his arms gave impulsive and landed back on his feet.
Fight like a Jedi... fight like a Jedi... he tought I know!
He sprinted forward relieving his mind of emotions that strenghten him and stabed in front to Cyphon. I feel different... like a Jedi. he realised.
He looked at Cyphon. "Is this enough? It's not the fight like a Jedi that boders me, its their way of being that sickens me." he said pausing and looking at Jynn in the other side, still smiling inside for what he did.
Cyphon did a simple maneuver with his blades, wrapping them around Zeryls, and using them to fling his oncoming blade away from himself.
At Zeryl's distraction with Jynn, Cyphon elbowed Zeryl's temple. "By fighting like a Jedi, you are like one, you follow their way of being, thus you are becoming what sickens you," responded Cyphon.
Then he turned his attention on Jynn, who seemed to be in a daze, he charged forward, aiming for a well placed kick to the forhead to get her attention.
Jynn watched as the Sith began to attack more calmly. It was surprising how quickly he was able to adopt the Light style of fighting.
It's their way of being that sickens me...
"Oh, for frak sake," she spat. "I'm sure you consider it absolutely distasteful and immoral to roam the universe not killing innocent beings, but personally-" Her angry retort was cut off by Cyphon's attack.
So he's serious, she thought, dodging the attack. In that case... She gripped his ankle and pushed his leg up and back, throwing him off balance to the floor. In that case, I've put up with betrayal for the last time.
"No more Jedi games," she hissed, igniting her silver blade and striking towards him.
Shadow glanced from his position at the fight that ensued. Shadow had been smiling because he was remembering a good past memory. Now his thoughts were no longer on the past but on the present and his look was that of concern. Shadow wasn't worried by Zeryl. Cyphon had offered an open challenge and Zeryl had accepted that. Zeryl had been asking for it. Jynn was more of his concern.
Though he generally did not know her, he could tell that this Kante Rhun had a significant affect on her. He probably was her master before Order 66. Every Jedi seemed to lost someone close during Order 66. Though Jedi weren't allowed attachments, it was pretty hard not to become attached to the one you were trainning or being trained by. Shadow knew this personally because he had been training his own padawan for about a year when Order 66 was issued. Her death had affected him significantly. He had still moved on, as least he thinks so. But now Jynn was reffering to Jedi as if she wasn't one of them. She needed guidence, especially here, if she was going to make it through this without falling. In his opinion, at least. He did not know Jynn enough to make any accurate assupmtions.
Fighting each other did not help, even if Jynn and Zeryl had to resolve their differances one way or another. Fghting an opponent that they would not succeed against even if they worked together did not help either. They needed to get in an actual fight where if they didn't work together they would die. Not where they had to figure out rules or fight till exhaustian. Of course he was probably judging too quickly. Cyphon was a smart and wise person who didn't waste time. Shadow would just have to watch and see, surpressing the urge to go in and correct them like he would a clone who was using a weapon wrong.
"Don't you just hate sitting down, only seeing, and not do anything, Master Shadow?" Reyvan asked, leaning thowards a wall.
Peace and Serenity... Peace and Serenity... this is boring. he tought has he concentrated in his lightsaber.
Quickly he srang into action and jumped in the air with his lightsaber turned down hoping to land on cyphon's turned back.
Too predictable... Zeril backfliped landing on the ground crouched and
,with an horizontal blow, he tried to cut off Cyphon's feet.
"Patience is nessesary at most times in order to be successful." Shadow said. Then he paused for moment and then said "But yes, I do hate to watch instead of acting."
Cyphon wasn't necessarily knocked to the floor by Jynn's expected move, more like sent backwards a little unbalanced, but quickly regained it with a simple backflip.
He straightened up quickly, resuming his posture, and seeing Jynn come at him angry he went out of his posture, standing straight he blocked her strike, then several others that followed, with only one blade, while the other hung loose at his side.
He sensed Zeryl's blade ebb in the force, and he did a light hop in the air, still blocking Jynn's strikes. Dodging Zeryl's strike at his feet.
He landed softly, sensing rage fill in Jynn, but it was light, and not whole hearted. He sensed Zeryl, he was sincerely trying to use peace and serenity in his combat, but he was anxious, and he felt he just wasn't getting it though. Cyphon quickly locked with Jynn's blade, then sent her backwards with a push.
Cyphon backflipped away from them both, blades akimbo at his sides. He felt they wouldn't learn anything from this if their lives weren't threatened, and he knew this, that's why he decided to do something neither of the two new people expected. He knew they didn't know him, and he knew they thought he wouldn't strike with death blows, even though they would; however, something they didn't know, was that he was more than willing to strike them down to nothing but cold lifeless forms, though it would pain him to do it to either of them, for they were both important aspects in this war.
He hid these intentions, though it would be easy to hide them from these two, because they didn't know him well enough, and his capabilities at hiding things were unserpassed. Even if they thought they knew all his intentions, they were saddly mistaken, for they didn't. Cyphon slipped into the more familiar stance of Jar'Kai, with a hint of Djem So, and waited for one of the two to attack. He wouldn't get serious about this until they both completed the first rule, and cause him to turn off one of his blades.
Zeryl got up and started force pushing Cyphon repeatdly in the back, trying to make him fly across the room into the wall.
I won't stop! Either I get the secret or I kill him, simple as that! he tought since I can't figure out the secret...
He jumped over Cyphon's head landed on Jynn side, force pushed Cyphon jumped over him again and with one of his lightsabers he tried to fend Cyphon skull while with the other Zeryl slashed towards his stomach.
He probably will defend the blow at the last second...
