yeah, i saw those, but i was looking for something less far away scenic and more in the room. Dark_Storm what do you think? Did you want one of those pics or a different one? in your user profile, you can import pics into your album (you can create this to) or just make a photobucket or imageshack account.
as for the group thing, i think Da_man is the only one that can invite people.
PS. also watch out for double posting. there is an edit option down at the bottom of your posts. use that instead of creating a new one.

I tried doing a no gun Model, but failed miserably. I can photoshop fine, It's just making stuff out of this air is what kills me. :lol:
EDIT: I can also create animated versions that look fairly good. If you can give the frames, I can make them into animated pics, no problem.
yeah, I go with the clone/smudge until it looks decent trick. I've had to do something like it before, but I've always been able to fake it more because it would be covered up by something else. but i totally know what you mean. Changing things is a lot easier than creating things.

personally I think he needs more lightning, and maybe have it be yellow or orange that way it stands out more...

Try making the lightning stick to one part of his armor, i.e. his shin-plate thingy. I'd also make the lightning 50-60% transparent, so that you can see the details under it. I'd laso add a few more details, like holsters, ammo packs, and the like.

This is what I was talking about by adding stuff. One of the things I do to put sthings behind others, i.e. wepeons on backs, is to make a seperate layer for the background object, and erase the parts that are covered, like the parts of the ammo belt, and chunks of the Spartan laser. Creating seperate layers also helps you keep stuff organized. Also, when saving, first save as .psd, so you can still mess around with the layers, and then as a .jpg, so you can put it on forums or in your albums.
Okay, I'm working on a commando, it will take awhile I had my eyes checked and they dialated my eyes, so every thing is really blurry :lol: I hate it, and I have to get glasses to top it all off...

Sorry guys, the power outage and my college orientation took up the last few days of my time. I do my saber effects a little differently, but it might only be a feature of photoshop. It is the same though up to the blur, then i just do a preset effect. If you repost the pic of Knightfall without the lightsaber thing, i can add a blade for you.
btw Skiller is pretty sweet.
And watch the double posts and sig pic sizes, limit is 500x120pixels. Just keepin the mods away.

the only problem that I can see, is that the holster and saber hilt aren't lit by the light saber glow...and yes yours is a lot better than mine...:)
General Liwar, thanks for the compliment, I named him Skiller because there was a kid at my old school whos name was Skyler, our English teacher called him Skiller, Skyler really liked purple, so I used the color and name :D
