i remember "back in the day" when i still had my original copy of Hit The Road, and i thought it'd be cool if they made a sequel (cause it was my favorite game). i even dreamed up some lame title, like "Sam and Max in Time!" or something like that. the idea was that Sam and Max had an adventure that spanned various time periods (like the revolutionary war, and ancient egypt) and in the end, Max's head appears on the Sphinx and Mt. Rushmore (and probably some other famous landmarks of the ancient world).
so, i finally got a hold of my very own copy of The Collected...today! and i'm reading through each and every glorious page. what do i find? the last panel of Fair Wind To Java features the Sphinx with Max's head!
just thought it was weird and random...
