I found a skin for Kotor 1 that I am trying to make into a wearable item for personal use in Kotor 2. It is a body suit (cat suit) for females that is skinned like black leather with a black widow on the back.

I was looking at using the undies model and just used the skinned image on top of it. The problem is that I dont know how to make a reference to that model at a Baseitem.

Here is a link to the file that I am trying to convert into a wearable armor for TSL:
Black Widow Bastilla (http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/15681.html)

Any help would be very welcome.

OK. after going through all of the Toutorials provided I almost feel more confused ~_~.

I tried just making a UTI file for the Item, and while the item exists, it is neither the model that I wanted/needed (the one used for naked/underwear). To make it even worse Im not sure how to link it to a new skin after I get the item based off the correct model.

To Clarify: I am trying to make a new peice of armor for a female character that uses the naked/underwear (it is the closest that I can find to the original) and apply the texture of the 'Black Widow Bastilla' mod to it. I am basically trying to make this work for TSL, but my understanding of how all this works is extremely limited.

Would anyone be able to give me an idea of what would be needed to be done to get this to work? I dont mind trying, but I could really use a hand.

Unfortunately serrasin, that particular skin appears to be using Bastila's underwear model and I do believe that only exists in KotOR I's files, OE didn't leave it in TSL, so you cannot easily use it in TSL unless you want to redo the whole skin to the TSL female PC underwear model texture map. Sorry. :(

But the bright side is you can indeed make an armor appear as an underwear skin as T7nowhere did it for Bastila for KotOR I believe. ;)

RedHawke: Thanks for replying. How much effort would be involved in making that model available to TSL from Kotor (if that is even possible)? I get the feeling that I am jumping in way over my head, but at this point Im just being stubborn ^_~.

One word answer... Impossible.

See this would be considered Porting, and being that you have read our Holowan Labs Rules (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=127725) thread by now (Rule #14) I don't need to proceed further, about porting right? ;)

So your only option is to redo the skin on a TSL body model, and it likely won't look as good as the original. :( Sorry.
