since the game s supposed to be post EP IV, what will happen to Tarkin??? Will he be not available and replaced just as the Death star with DSII or will he still be here?
Tarkin Died, along with DSI, this is canon lore! He is not in the game, although he may be replaced by the Grand Moff that started the building of DSII.
Tarkin is dead for the purposes of the story campaign (as is Obi-Wan). He will still be available in the galactic conquest ("sandbox") mode.

He will Probably be replaced by Moff Jerjerrod. (Commander of DSII)
Thrawn cannot replace Tarkin. If anything, Thrawn should replace Piett. I want Thrawn :( and not the forum moderator guy :D
