So, I bought english version because of great mods compatibility, but my english is pretty bad :-) , so I have a question:

When I'm defender in space battle I can buy upgrades for my space station, but
when I'm ATTACKER i have sometimes "upgrade icons" on right side of my screen, looks like upgrades for my fighters, I can buy it too ??? How ?

BTW.: AI is cheating very much on HARD difficulty, NORMAL is too easy,
HARD is too hard, just thought :-)

Some of those upgrades come from the campaign as a whole. For instance, you might have captured a planet that gives your fighters a boost throughout the galaxy. Then you will recieve that bonus as both attacker and defender, and don't need to purchase it from a space station.

Wedge is right. Those icons on the right side of your screen are all active modifiers for the battle you're in. They include unit upgrades that you already have and environmental effects that are currently present.
