Thanks to some help from Chainz, I have two new mods posted at LucasFiles.

KOTOR Juhani to Drow Mod 1.0
http://lucasfiles.com/?s=&action=file&id=1294)

The downloads have screenshots.

For my first efforts, I'm happy with how they turned out. Acknowledgements to RedHawke and Kronic for their original work, on which these mods were based.

cheetahfeathers, I copied your single thread and renamed them both because of our 1 Mod per thread rule. (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=152042) ;) -RH

cheetahfeathers,

For the future I would greatly appreciate a PM request and you getting my approval to use my materials, before you release a mod that uses my stuff.

If you read my mod descriptions at PCGameMods, and my mod webpage it is a requirement. It is simply a matter of courtesy to the modder.

Now I'm not saying you have to remove the mod or anything like that, but consider this an FYI for the future. ;)

RedHawke: My sincere apologies for neglecting that request; no disrespect intended. I hope you did note the acknowledgements in the readme file.

FYI received.

Looks pretty good. What is the Drow from anyway? Morrowind?

The Drow are dark elves, and have been around a lot longer than Morrowind. They were in the previous elder scroll games as well (such as Arena, though few probably remember that one) and even that's not their first appearance.

The original concept for drow were created by Gary Gygax (and other writers) for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, 1st Edition back in the late 1970's, and were derived from several combined myths and legends of Scottish Gaelic and Shetland origins.

Dug around a little and found a wiki entry (big shock eh?) in case anyone wanted a little more info (about a page or so without chasing additional links): -Linky- (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drow)

Cheers,
-Kitty

Good to see I'm not the only gamer that was ready with a history of Drow type post.

Might I ask CheetahFeathers if you can post screenshots here. Because if you check lucasfiles they don't have any linked with this mod for people to view.

Yes I did, and that told me that your heart was in the right place. :)

Exactly! :) I have a love/hate relationship with the Drow... I love to play them, but hate to face them in a fight! ;)

They make some of the nastiest characters you can have, 50% Magic Resistance (+2% Per Level), the cool innate spells (Darkness, Faerie Fire, etc.), though I haven't played enough D20 D&D to see if they were nerfed (probably), but if I play a fantasy RPG, I play a Chaosium based game (Rune/Elf Quest, Storm Bringer), Palladuim, or TSR's 2nd Ed. AD&D anyway. :D

She looks very cool. The character looks like she might come from the pages of the X-Men more than a Drow, actually. I like it. Question, is there a way to make it playable as a PC in K1 and K2?
